| xbox432 chapter 16 . 12/11/2019 Oof, that... was quite the twist. I mean, for something on that world to enslave Shalltear was bad enough on its own. But for it to be able to bypass the defenses of a being like Obsidian? Nazerick is going to have to be careful. I'll be looking forward to seeing how this'll play out, what with the obvious spike in difficulty Ainz will have to face due to this. Also, damn, Shalltear is gonna be devastated. I can't help but be curious if, when she inevitably asks why he would sacrifice himself for her, Ainz will fill her and the others in on what had happened to Obsidian's last lover? It could give Shalltear and the others of Nazerick a better understanding of why their lords are so protective of them. |

I don't think that mind control World Item should be able to work on a Player, just NPCs and monsters, so I bet that once it vanishes, Obsidian is going to massacur the people that almost got Shaltear. I Bet Ainz will also quickly come to investigate as well. |
