2000 gil is like 20 bucks. It's not that much money. I mean, potions are like 100 gil a piece and such. Normally you get payed like 4000 gil per -what was it? Every three hours or so? but anyway, not very realistic. I understand that that is not the point of your story, but it just isn't high enough. Try 50,000 gil or something. That would make MUCH more sense. (Not yelling, just no italics)
