This is interesting. I like how even at a young age there is the underlying potential for Naruto and Harriet to be together. While I don't like that Naruto seems to be forced to tell Hermione what's up, I do remember how observant, bossy, and nosy she was in the beginning. I can't wait to see how the different years go by with Naruto along for the ride. Year 2 with the Basalisk would be intense, though a part of me would be interested in hum being petrified and it being up to Harriet to save him and Hermione. That would be a character growth for Harriet, since she couldn't rely on Nauto.

Year 3 would be different with the Dementors and meeting Sirius. Year 4 would be nuts with the Tournament. Oh, and heaven forbid year 5 has Umbridge because I know for a fact that he'd probably kill her for that Blood Quill usage on Harriet. I wonder if they would get the horcruxes sooner or not with him. Then there is the question of if they would find a way back to Konoha or not after Voldemort is dead. If so would Hermione come with? Somehow I doubt it since she's close to her parents. Harriet would follow him though. So many things I'm eager to see.

Though...I have a question. When Naruto says that he will teach Hermione and Harriett, does that mean he will teach them how to use jutsus and stuff? How to wield magic as chakra and that kind of stuff? Cuz that will be kind of a turnoff for me...

It was nice to read more interactions between Naruto and Harriet.

While I liked the liberty taken with Naruto cannon, I feel it could have been much more condensed as so much was just a rehash of cannon.

The amount of good quality HP/Naruto crossover fics on this site can be counted on one hand. I am very happy to add another finger to that hand.

I love the fluff between Naruto and Harriett. You have a way of showing their affection to one and another that is so warming, uplifting, and lovely. Their action and mannerism shows how much they care and love each other, it's just so cute. Here's hoping for more fluff between each other.

Also, I love the way you portray Harriett. She is exactly like cannon Harry in the first book, though a little more meek. But that just makes her more adorable. I love the wat you portray her as a normal, 11 year old girl. I think a lot of fanfiction writers, especially in HP fandom, sometimes forget they are writing about 11 year old kids. Kids tend to makes mistakes. Especially a lonely, socially awkward, 11 year old girls who for the first time, met someone who truly cares for her wellbeing. It is understandable that she would be jealous and a bit vindictive towards Hermione when she herself feels insecure about her position as Naruto's best friend. Understandable, but still wrong nonetheless. But still, it's part of growing up. You can't grow up if you didn't make mistakes. That what I love in this petty rivalry between Hariett and Hermione. Harriett makes a mistakes because she's a kid, she realizes her mistakes, feels guilty about it, and wants to be forgiven. That's why I love this rivalry. It really shows the relationship dynamics between two lonely and socially awkward 11 year old girls. The apologizing scene was a bit anticlimatic, though.

Hermione... Well, I'm a bit reserved about her. Her bossy and pushy personality is a bit annoying for sure, but sometimes I feels like Hermione doesn't knew that it is not alright to be that pushy and bossy, unlike how Harriett quickly realizes her mistakes. And the way Naruto always lets her off is giving her positive reinforcement to the fact that, it is alright to be like that. Sure it is a part of her, but that doesn't mean that she can't just curb it a bit, if you know what I mean. I love Hermione in cannon HP. Her bossy attitude is endearing in canon because she act like an older sister and be the voice of reason to the usually reckless and 'rush ahead without thinking' Golden Trio. Harry and Ron know she's bossy because she wants to protect them, like a strict older sister. That's why she's endearing. But in here, Hermione's a bit annoying because she doesn't have a solid basis on why she should act bossy. Instead of a strict older sister, she looks more like an annoying little sister that always bother you. I hope, in times, she can be loveable and endearing too in here.

I'm sorry for my bad english. Also, I can't wait for the next chapter. I'm here strictly because of the fluff, so I can't wait for more fluff in future chapters~

I don't know why you thought this but I know for a fact that Naruto is not ambitious. His goal in life was to become Hokage and that not for power but because he wanted other people to accept him.
And now his goal is to go back home which isn't much of an ambition either.
And for all the pranks he pulls, he's not a cunning person.
I know you might want to send him in Slytherin for plot drama but frankly, he doesn't belong anywhere else but in Gryffindor.

Naruto's reaction when Vernon pointed his shotgun at him was almost laughably pathetic.
If he's gonna be as pathetic when fighting against wizards then I'm not sure if I should continue reading this or not.
The story was going good but the first sign of a conflict and the author fucked this up.
