I am not much of a destiel shipper. Nothing wrong with it, I just see platonic love, friendship and brotherhood between the two of them, not romantic love.
That being said, if ever destiel were to happen, then this story is spot on as to what it would take to get there. Cas slowly, carefully, leading Dean (and Sam) to the path of rebuilding themselves in a more positive way (those two carry so much unnecessary guilt around), Dean finally getting to the point where he loves himself enough to dare open his mind to the idea of being in love with someone else. You wrote that progression beautifully.
Your writing flows wonderfully, reading is effortless, as you carry the reader along the lines.
Well composed, moving. Words that reach the heart.
and besides: I absolutely love domestic Winchesters.
Do evenaas a non-shipper, this story is a joy to read, well done.(and I didn't make my phone wet with tears over this one, so that was a nice change from the last one of yours, that I read)

That was a really nice fic. I liked the little changes that happened and how Dean gradually came out of his shell. Well done!

This was awesome. I would so love to see the healing and relationship development happen in the show, but I guess then there would be way less drama, and possibly no show anymore, so this is good too!

The slow confidence building and positive reinforcement was beautifully done, and I very much enjoyed Sam spotting it and calling Cas out on it.
It can be very difficult to get an in character, in canon Dean to admit his feelings and I think you got him there in a way that was believable and inevitable, so massive congrats.
A thoroughly enjoyable read.

I'M SO HAPPY AND WHATNOT. THIS IS LITETALLY ALL I EVER WANT FOR DEAN. My soul just LIVES for this kind of stuff. I also love the occasional well written romantic smut but THIS, it's just life fulfillment happiness. and I really needed that cause I know tonight is just gonna be a bitch for me. because I worry about Dean so much, and all the Michael crap is gonna be so bad when it's done.
