| Guest chapter 11 . 6/19 It seems to me like from the very moment Merlin got back to the past (or back to the future XD), Arthur's soul this time around knew who he was, and what it meant him coming back, and started getting an unhealthy possessiveness to him, I think possessiveness is one of the most dangerous things in a relationship, because in the person's head it's just them that should have any right to that person, and the wonderful thing about Merlin is/was that he belongs, and is kind, and loving to everyone, and in a possessive relationship, Arthur might end up stamping those wonderful qualities out, for fear of losing him, he has to learn that even though Merlin is his, he has duties and responsibilities given to him by the trinity goddess, things he HAS to do for the good of all, which was another thing that flew over Arthur's head in the show, I hope this time around, Arthur understands that Merlin is someone that is about gifting, and no matter what happens that will always be who he is. |
