Finally started this story, and already, I'm blown away. Once again, Gale & Madge can't manage to get on the same page, even though they are always so close! Sad to see how angry Gale has become, and how he seemed resigned to the pain. Hopefully these two kids can finally break through their masks, and see what's right in front of them. Kudos to the Mayor and Annie, who seem to know the score!

Wow - another chapter. Love to start seeing more into both Madge/Pearl and Gale and that they are interacting without war now. Twyla is interesting. Does she really not remember Madge?

Now I'm really curious about the District 1 Mayor's wife. Love the bit about the dream and the detail about the flashlight. Davie was wonderful.
