the major failings of this fandom, or pertimis specifically. is the lack of proper emotional and contextual buildup, and corruption of the characters without any given reson for their change in behavior. you have so far have a avoided such crucial pitfalls. if you desire to continue with a persy and artimis pairing, you must face the largest challenge yet, realistically removing annabeth from the picture. you seem to be going with the classiche's not at home anymore, so dump his ass.". if so you must make it an extreme amount of time. anything less than a half a year wouldn't scratch their bond.

Wow... I see all what everyone else is saying this preview or whatever is really good. Its almost like I'm reading a story by uncle Rick by tone and I love that Percy is still the same in wanting to protect everyone and still knows his fears and pushing through it till his goal is met. I'm all about Artemis and Percy being friends though I do love a good Pertemis story I think this one will do them justice in keeping them the same in character. I can't wait to read more and keep up the good work. I'll impatiently be waiting for the story's to come.

The fight was good; I liked the way Percy admitted his fear but continued regardless. Not much to comment on here; to be honest, I'm not the best with fight scenes.

What stood out to me in this chapter is Artemis' reaction to Percy's 'death', and not in a bad way. While I think there are some valid criticisms for Artemis being more composed in that type of situation (Zoe's death comes to mind), it still wasn't badly done. First, this is a fanfiction, nothing is going to remain the same, and that's the way it's suppose to be. Second, you have to consider the situation for Artemis; she has found a friend in Percy, something that's probably really rare. Her only other friends are most likely The Hunters, but in a way as their leader, she can't connect to them fully; she has to think of her responsibility to them before she can allow herself to relax. Percy is different, he's someone powerful enough that she can allow herself to enjoy the moment, he's showed her all these coll 'modern' things.

What I'm trying to say is that while I wouldn't say Percy is more important to Artemis than The Hunters are, he does hold a unique position as a genuine friend that she holds no responsibilty to.

I'll definitely give this a shot! I love the tone, while I won't say it's the same as uncle Rick's, it is clearly inspired by him. It does a food job of capturing Percy and I look forward to more.

Holy shit I love the preview. Definitely did not expect it to get so dark so soon but it was amazing. Feel bad for the hunters hopefully Thalia and the rest are safe. I have a feeling who the OC is but I don't want to spoil it for the others.

I am wondering if this prophecy will affect the seven or just Percy it seems. More interactions with the 7 and other demigods would be nice to see. Annabeth interactions with the others would be cool to see what they have been doing. Maybe a Nico and Annabeth bff adventure because you really don't seem them interacting together in the books.

The fallout of the hunters will hit Artemis hard hopefully Percy will be there to comfort her (I know it's not pertemis but I ship them so hard because of your story). Definitely can't wait for Percabeth if you can make me ship Artemis and Percy so quickly just with them talking.

great pacing, this fandom is noticeably lacking in this regard. tending to skipping the world building and hard work of the setup to get to the good part. so I applaud you for your care you take in your work

Amazing worrk. I really like the dynamic of them definitely want to see more of them hanging out as bff. I am hoping you are going to do more with different characters like maybe Annabeth and other demigods like Nico that would be cool. Annabeth wanting to leave the world behind I can understand but at the same time I don't want them to because it's a part of them. Percy was fine here not too OP as long as he is written well I'm fine with it. Definitely Percabeth but Pertemis is a close second only if it's written well.
