Wow! I didn't want to review this until I reached the end, but just...wow.

We've only just got to the beginning of canon but I already am in love with this story. Farlan and Isabel were amazingly written, even if it felt like our time with them was little, I miss them so much and the fact that you can get that response from people just through this story should say a lot.

I hope Levi and Miria manage to sort their relationship out and I'm so curious as to that foreshadowing about Erwin and him covering up her kills! :o Two protective men like Levi and Erwin is definitely a turn on, you go, Miria! hahaha

Also, I can't wait for Eren to meet up with Miria again, and I bet he'll look up to her so much! What would be a cool touch is if Mikasa also looked up to Miria. Fanfics never flesh her out enough and Mikasa having some kind of relatable, female role model would be a healthy change to her usual depiction of obsession and apathy.

I really hope you stick with this, I've followed and favourited anyway to keep up-to-date with it!

Finding WiFi in Mexico is sooo hard but I did it and the first thing I did was check if u updated and downloaded the update xD I loved the addition of Arron (my first reaction: Hotchner!? Ahahaha! Frist let me start with I love your story. Love love love it. This chapter Miria was pissing me off. I love her and I get that she is in a bad place right now. Ahh no I could have saved the agonizing effort of waiting if I knew u were gonna update and here I am a few days laters to the glorious gift of several updates, u should have seen my reaction I was like *EXCITED BANSHEE SCREAM* -flip a table- at 4 in the morning when I happen to come across this today! Jesus is this heaven? I knew that waffle was silently wishing my demise xD but anyway I’m just about to start ch. 19 and I can’t wait *cue drumroll* swear tho ik what’s about to come and if ur previous chapters had me sobbing I’m mentally preparing myself to cry half my heart out but again thanks for the fantastic updates (tho I haven’t read them yet ik their gonna be good) Genie!

Hrm, so looks like it did lead into Erwin and Miria. I know it wasn't out of left field, and you'd been somewhat leading up to it, but I honestly hadn't expected Miria to actually pursue him after everything and with him of all people after Furlan.
Though soon as I read your note about smut and then immediately saw the way the chapter started with her talking to Erwin, I knew right away that was where it was leading though I still held hope up until she woke from her dream that it wouldn't. Oh well. I'm just not into the pairing, personally. :)
And now with her throwing herself at Erwin in such a way, it would feel weird and forced for her to move onto Levi if that was even the plan for the future... poor Levi. Some things just aren't meant to be for the poor rascal.

Hah, through all of her efforts to get Levi to name his horse, she ends up naming it anyway.
Ok, trying to recall all my thoughts for comments on this chapter, uhmmm:
I recommend when Levi is recalling Hange's previous words, separating them and covering each with ' at the start and end. It's ok to read as it is now, but that would make it much smoother. Also to your authors note about the beginning being a piece from a future chapter, you made it work out well, but if you wanted to try it out for the future, when you're jumping back to your "current/past timeline" of the story, ie. Current events, perhaps sneak a date at the top? Or otherwise, just leaving authors notes at the top to specify works just as well. :)
Oh! One thing I really want to see more of that you did in past chapter's, was commenting on Levi's responses to Miria. I mean, they're sharing a bed now and though they're consumed by grief, it would be nice to see him still internalizing his lustful thoughts towards her which would likely make him beat himself up over it (cause of course, he would probably think it to be in terrible taste, of his dead best friends fiancee in such a way)
It would be great for helping to continue building that relationship, keep the characters connected, keep the readers intrigued, etc. Haha, just a thought! Otherwise, it might start to feel like you're moving away from the Miria/Levi pairing. Of course, maybe that's your intention since you made comments about even the civilians noting Erwin's still in love with her in the future. Is that where you're thinking of leading Miria's story?

Levi's comment, "I can't lose you too." was delivered perfectly and felt very powerful and sweet in that moment. Loved it! And even better, while reading I got an email there was another chapter to read so I have lots to catch up on! :)
Editing to point out, mostly concentrated at the beginning of the chapter, there was a lot of miss spelled words and some sentences seemed like they were missing a few words so they were I complete and kind of ruined the moment a little bit, took you out of the story. So you might want to go back and edit them :)
Can I say how happy I am that Miria went to sleep with Levi? I can see that becoming a new constant thing for the both of them. Appreciated Erwin's gesture towards her too. Sorry for the short review but off to read more!

Okay, totally started up a notepad just to write down the thoughts for a review while I read cause I always seem to forget things as I go along, such as:
Yes Hange! I adore her, she's my favorite. Though I admit, I felt like she gave in waaaay too easily to Miria with the ODM Gear. Just casually tossing restricted gear out the window to someone not authorized for it. I mean, I get they are friends and Miria's comment, "just blame it on me sneaking in." to cover for her worked, but still, I hummed a little. Not that, that's a bad thing! I hope my comments don't come across as disconcerting to you!
Especially because I did really like the interactions between Hange and Miria, they make the greatest little duo!
I also liked the idea Miria is employing to get herself accepted into the expedition!

OH! I also keep forgetting to comment on one of your earlier author's notes where you said you weren't sure if it was a good thing or bad thing that the chapters keep getting longer: Longer chapters are NEVER a bad thing. Ever. Don't let anyone tell you different!

Love Levi's reaction to finding out she had deceived him. Also, is it just me or has Miria grown... very, extroverted on an extreme scale? Not a terrible thing, just something I am noticing with her. More and more, she's becoming very brazen and sometimes a little rash-acting without really thinking because she's so firmly stuck in the belief (at least it feels that way) that her path will be the right one. Does that sound strange?

Found a few spots where a quotation was missed, just for editing purposes, when Miria is calling the scouts forward and says "first one to cut down all fifteen" etc. At the beginning is where it's lacking the quotation as well as towards the end after she begins speaking again. It makes the sentence a little confusing as to what she quits saying and when her thoughts start.
Perhaps, separate the thoughts entirely on a new line?

Ok, after reading her going through with challenging the scouts, the insubordination towards it.. I hope they don't allow her out on the expedition because throughout all of it, she risked the lives of the other men she was challenging. "Miria took off, recklessly charging into the fray without any regard for surrounding soldiers."
She's a bigger 'at-risk' situation than Levi and the other two. Erwin knows he can control the other three, especially during canon, but Miria's being too.. reckless. Throwing herself blindly out there and I just can't see the scouts (no matter how "talented she may be") agreeing to let her out in the field, when it comes down to it, on an expedition that teamwork is vital would be foolish leadership on their part. Because Levi has control, that is where he differs to Miria. She has none.
I appreciate Furlan calling her out on this even though she completely disregards it and then tries to use 'sexism' as an excuse against Keith and Erwin. I'm glad you voiced the same concerns I had, that she's a liability due to her complete uncaring nature towards others on a team, but I disliked that at the end of that, Keith seemed to actually be... taken in by her throwing in his face that he's only turning her away because she's a woman? :/
Which now that I've finished reading, it looks like they did succumb to her comments.. Well, at least the scenes with her mother and Keith were adorable. Especially the comforting. I recommend though, at that last paragraph, breaking it up with each comment spoken because it becomes really cluttered and difficult for the reader to keep track of who said what or if it was all said by the same person.
