Fantastic read. I love how it all builds up to fit seemlessly into the Canon. I dont wonder what will happen to Uryu, Chandra, and Yuusuke.

I'm kind of sad this story ends. Yet, it is a proper ending nonetheless. Beautifully done. Great job.

Nearly every Mahouka story I've read has shown Maya treat Tatsuya better than Miya.

Kuroba Mitsugu would probably have been proud of his daughter's skill at eavesdropping - had it not been his conversation that Ayako was listening to. Unfortunately he would probably be less proud of his son's gushing praise for "Tatsuya-oniisama" - and not just because it's for Tatsuya (in his family's line of work such an unbridled emotional response on Fuyami's part could get someone killed).

The chapter was a bit long - in fact it probably could have been broken down into two chapters (the preparations for taking action and the actual battle itself - although it's entirely possible that you wrote the later portion first, and had to fill in the with the first part). At least Chandra and Yuusuke proved more interesting than a completely delusional Uryu (erasing his memory of these events was a kindness).

Given how many memories had to be erased, I wonder if the Shiba siblings didn't afterward have to "transfer" to another school (actually that seems like exactly the sort of thing which Maya might insist upon, if only to teach Miyuki a lesson: There is always a price to be paid when simple problems are allowed to grow into bigger ones)

Nice tie in with the first LN at the end. It gives a purpose to the entire story which would otherwise be lacking.

Ahhhhhhh it’s over? It was so good though ah poor Tatsuya. And he cares so much for Miyuki. Anyway. Awesome story. I must reread at some point.

A surprise final update! And I have to say, one well made! I'd been surprised by the length at first until I realized you were wrapping things up and you did so in quite a spectacular fashion. A bit of a pity that their memories had to be wiped, but given the circumstances it did have to be done. But man, would've been interesting if Chandra and Yuusuke and Uryu got to keep their memories and you do a slight AU where they see some of the canon events or something. But that's just my fantasies talking now, ha ha.

Ironic, that Tatsuya's creepiness is what keeps those kids from harm. I think your children's perspective is great and fits the naivety of those children, even if they are annoying as hell. I don't know how you can stand to write them, but I think you did great. And I loved how they finally saw reason that Tatsuya might be a enormously dangerous monster, but it was a very, very bad idea to mess with him. Also, it was nice that Uruyu saw that Tatsuya isn't just a monster and isn't that irrationally opposed to him anymore.
