I've breezed through the first 8 chapters of this and-like the students drifting towards Harry, or like a moth to a flame-I'm craving for more. You've hooked me and I don't think anything will shake it loose.

Your characters are concrete. Harry and Daphne in particular stand out extraordinarily well, but even characters like Nott and Malfoy have their own unique quirks to them that make them appealing and engaging.

Other people might be put off by the incredibly mature and manipulative Harry at the age of 11, but I'm not. Children can be incredibly manipulative. Usually it is not intentional-as Harry said, it's easy to tell when an act is an act-but they have a certain charm to them. Harry just has that charm on maximum overdrive. I wonder how much of that is due to the connection with Voldemort. After all, the wards detected the Horcrux in him, so perhaps his environment growing up caused more of that to bleed through into his personality. Maybe it's even outright influencing him. Or maybe Harry truly is marked to be the Dark Lord's equal, in strength, in knowledge, in charisma...a parallel, if you will.

I'm excited to see this develop. I've never smashed the follow/favorite button faster.

I’m also looking forward to the eventual tom and Harry meeting. I’m hoping for tom/Harry. That would be a really interesting pairing in this universe. I think Tom is the only character who is able to match harry’s Character. Interesting to see if they will get on or get at each other’s throats in the beginning.

This story is the most intoxicating work, fanfiction or otherwise I have ever read! Dear God Harry is frightening! Wow just wow. Love where the fic is going, and your characterization of Harry is absolutely brilliant. Daphne too is a work of literary art. I’m hooked on this and can’t wait for more!

Amazing story!

This story is absolutely gripping! I'm so glad you updated and added more to it and I'm very much looking forward to what you come up with next. The only thing that I always ask myself while reading these stories is if an eleven-year-old would be capable of such intricate manipulation. That's not to say that his actions in this story aren't written well, because they are. I especially loved how he compared Daphne to a child because it is the truth: they are, after all, still children. I just hope that Dumbledore won't pull his manipulative bullshit in this one. Was it Lily's sacrifice that was the force equilibrating the soul shard? If yes, nicely done, very nicely done ;)
