Fantastic chapter. How you described Weiss as she moves in with Yang, what's going through her mind, her considerations for her friend as well as her building attraction...that was spot on. It truly felt like Weiss was in dire straits but could keep it all together thanks to having Yang as her friend. Looking forward to seeing how she picks her life back up.

Cinder and Nora saying goodbye to each other like that was kind of heartbreaking :( They both knew it wasn't right to be together, even if they potentially could. Hope this isn't the last we see of Nora.

Great final scene with Raven and Cinder. I think it was a good call to have Raven and Glynda go on a date but it really not working out, since that will quench the 'what if's in everyone's mind.

Supremely underrated story. This is a joy to read and a blast to binge. Keep up the great work!

This was great - Really loved the then and now scenes of Weiss' life. The breakup was well done too; felt somber and a touch emotional, without descending into drama. The slightly resigned acceptance from both of them and neither willing to back away was skillfully portrayed.

Raven and Cinder continues to be amazingly cute together, plus glad they got over their slight awkwardness. And I squealed when Cinder accidentally revealed it's Raven she's pining after to Glynda. Lots of good advise from Glynda too - supportive, plenty of reassurance and pushing Cindy just the little bit on the road to taking risks.

Good stuff and you're settings things up nicely here for next part. Looking forward to it!

What a twist! Love this chapter so much. Think you nailed Raven's worry and how everyone reacted to Cinder being hurt.

Still think this fic deserves way more attention than it gets. The subject material isn't the easiest to read, and personally it's sometimes downright upsetting to go through, but it makes the high points all the more satisfying and poignant. Love seeing how everyone is coming along, can't wait for next chapter!

This chapter was okay but not one of my favorites I'm afraid. I didn't feel it as strongly as last one, mostly because there's a bit too much of everything here. Cinder comes across as too comfortable and take things too far, considering that she's not known Yang for a very long time (and her boss' daughter). The joke and playful master x 'good girl' role lingers too long, making me feel uncertain if they're on the same wavelength and what's really a joke vs not. I think you let it carry too much of the dialogue. The overall appeal of the chapter would probably be stronger if it was pruned a bit, maybe 2K words or so.

Not sure if that moment of carnal attraction was good in the grand scheme. There's certainly more advanced romantic and sexual possibilities developing here, but she's already with Nora and sooner or later, Raven, and spreading Cinder too wide... relationship-ish-wise, may make it more difficult to relate to the dynamics between her and others.

This fic is somehow simultaneously traumatic, cathartic, and adorable. I love this so much! And my gosh... The spirit of Velvet lives on because everyone be bangin' like rabbits! (Or almost banging!)

Some hilarious dialogue here plus a bunch of backstory. Very nice. Also, Yang and Weiss are such good friends...and potentially more. It's hard to tell sometimes because everyone is flirting playfully for the fun of it.

The only thing that bothers me a bit here is how clueless Ruby seems about the trauma between Yang and Blake. There's probably a reason for it I'm not seeing, but she just waltzes into the bar with Blake in tow when she know Yang is working.

I read this a while ago then forgot to review, and now I've read it again. Good stuff! Nora's gotten to know some of the people Yang calls friends, Yang and Coco's relationship is fun and makes me second-guess my assumptions that she'd go for Weiss. Good thing - keeps it fresh!

Pyrrha being stone cold was great too. I'm kind of fearing for when Yang will find out ol' Blakey's back in town.

Ummm... WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT !?

A good mix of scenes here! Reconciliation between Raven and Yang was great, as well the deterioration of Weiss' and Vernal's relationship (coupled with the flashback). Think you handled Vernal's hangups well... I can see how she feels even if I do not understand why.

Blake... I'm a bit surprised by how Ruby seems unaware of ignoring how her sister is affected by the presumed fallout between Blake and her - could also be that Ruby doesn't have enough information.

Cin and Raven hugging was of course adorable. *Makes squealing noises*

I must admit that I'm not as invested in Ruby and Pyrrha's relationship in comparison to the other two. It's not that there's no drama, because there doesn't have to be drama, it's more that it feels a bit too idealistic in how they think about each other. That said, I'm a bitter, cynical person so maybe I'm just hard to please. Take it with a grain of salt.
