This was... Interesting. For once, Lily was not a duos ex machina. I sorta wish for an aftermath chapter, where the characters reflect on what they learned here. Mainly Lily though.

I enjoyed this, but I think I might’ve needed to watch the fate series to enjoy it more, as I was a bit confused by everything.

I love Gilgamesh/Harry! I saw this and went back to read Demiurge, just finished this one. Not sure I understand exactly what happened since I haven’t seen the original series here. But anyway, would love to see more of the Gilgamesh/Harry dynamic! And Wizard Lenin thrown in there, it’s a lot of fun.

It was a great ending, and it was interesting to see the results of something even Lily couldn’t control. I’m sad that Gilgamesh died in the end, and perhaps even Lily, but it shows their beautiful determination in the end. Thank you for the great story!

Loved the story although the last chapter felt rather abrupt. I’ve really enjoyed your depictions of Lily and Gilgamesh along with the other Fate heroes. Any hope of Jeanne joining the group of main characters in another story?

Ohhh, Lily has the Noble Phantasm of dragging others into limbo when they have a close-brush with Death, doesn't she? A completely useless ability, except as a tool to communicate when she herself has already passed on. Holy shit though, that means that the Holy Grail of this war actually has the "spritual essence of Lily" inside of it (since her death likely means that the ritual worked the way it was intended to work), and that's terrifying.

Ordering Gilgamesh to kill himself was a bit reckless of Kotomine though. He should've known that Gil doesn't really do "half measures" when he can go out with a bang, and if that bang also takes out literally everything around him, then that's exactly what he'll gleefully decide to do.

This was... odd.

It started fairly epic, but took a sharp tone shift around 6 chapters in... based on that last AN it makes me think the requester guy wanted that ending, even though it clashes pretty horribly with lily's character. AND the setup. Regardless this was alright, and I thank you for it.

6/10 for quietly slipping off into the lake one night, never to be seen again.

there's an empty ache in my chest and i'm not sure how i feel about this but a sense of revelation

I like the end, I think. It centers on Jeanne and Gil which all in all were the two characters we sorta followed through this all... It doesn't feel like the characters' lives are wastefully spent, but it does feel sort of unfinished. All in all, the traditional format of the first piece was more to my taste...

That's it? I don't like the ending...like there're too many loose ends..
