As always, I adore the easy way you write these characters. Your writing always seems so smooth and witty and this is no exception. I think I prefer your take on the next gen to the canon ;)

For all those who liked this story and these characters, I would recommend the author's (unrelated) multi-chapter fic "At The Top".

Short but sweet, though I sort of miss the real estate mogul flipping out at the Katherine Hepburn for getting shitfaced at her party and being a patronizing asshole at her for not being a perfect society wife the way it happens in the movie The Philadelphia Story. But the ending of the Philadelphia Story is sort of slap-stick outrageous and I like your ending better, it is more believable and in character.

This was a fun read! When I first saw that you loosely based it on The Philadelphia Story, I was a bit wary about reading it, because the best part about the film has always been the wittiness of the dialogue. However, I think you captured it very well here. Scorpius was as quick as whip with his asides. Although similar to my general critique of The Philadelphia Story, I feel like the lead female(Rose) could have been more fleshed out, because the supporting female lead (Aurora) was far more engaging.

Overall, very effective as a fic based on a film! Well done!

That was a nice read. It wasn't overly romantic nor dramatic, it was all over subtility in the way you chose to present your story.
