Good chapter, liked the flow and characters reactions. Nice expressions of personal growth and maturity, mixed with awkwardness and dun Dun DUUUUUN moments.

Part of me is wondering if XCOM: Chimera Squad is going to be referenced.

The rest of me just wants to see Outrider and Mox show up and then let things roll as they do.

Well, that's certainly one hell of a way to find out your daddy ain't your sperm donor. One thing I'm wondering, though, is if Ruby and Yang will keep calling themselves sisters despite knowing the truth; they just strike me as the kind of people that wouldn't care about semantics.

Other than that, a wild Weiss appears! She used hug! It's super effective! Now we only need a stray kitty and everything will be (mostly) right with the world...

This is a great story, a nice take on RWBY going in a different direction, great OC, and Emerald's character development is touching, looking forward to more chapters.
Would like to see Yang's arm get upgraded with alien alloys while keeping the overall functionality the same, would be curious to see RWBY cast reaction to trophies wall, and get equipment upgrades, like with Crescent Rose in chapter 2, i think.
Would love to see Nora in the R.A.G.E. suit, hello mayhem, and Qrow in the Avengers bar with Bradford, and Bradford chew Ironwood.
How will the world of Remnant be changed by the presence of Xcom, and did any members of the resistance factions come with them?

Quick question, have you ever played Tales of Symphonia? Because "Professor" Rayne reminds me a lot of one of the characters in that game lol

so are you going use Cinder as a cartoon villain or are you going to get her a backstory?
Because it is a bit boring that you make Emerald, Mercury, Neo and Roman people with hope and motive, but in all of the Chapters you had made Cinder out as a monster, and not give us a reason for why she is with Salem

its great to see Summer Reunite with family particularly Yang I this case however the reunion I'm REALLY looking forward to is between Summer and Ruby... oh I cant wait! _

note to self don't make Ruby mad ...you wouldn't like her when she's mad lol

I KNEW IT. ...well to be honest before I had that confirmed in a PM from the author after my last message I wasn't 100% certain it was her I was (more like 75% certain) ...but still it was my first thought at least ... also this chapter does indeed answer why there were no obvious reactions on Alpha teams part when the encountered Ruby for the first time ...

I WAS going to say Summer Rose given she's a She was found wearing a Cloak etcetera but theres a few things that make it less likely when I thought about it more ... like the four that found themselves on Remnant not immediately recognizing Ruby (Summer and Ruby are supposed to look almost identical just with different hair cuts color themed clothes and with Ruby being younger ...) though that Could maybe be explained away if the Commander wore a mask/helmet all the time though its still la stretch ... otherwise no idea (fyi this dismay first reading of this I haven't looked ahead I like being surprised ...usually )

I just read this whole story in a day, it was amazing, keep up the great work.
