Hmm... if you don't mind me saying so, Bobby was incredibly OOC in this chapter. The way he talks, what he actually says, his mannerisms, nothing reminded me of him. You could have switched his name with someone else and we wouldn't have been able to tell the difference, in my opinion.

You wrote "Bobby shrugged again" but before that line he didn't shrugged so I don't get the use of "again". They also "sigh" a lot. About 5 times in just that portion of the chapter.

And overall there's a lot of exposition here, a lot of telling and not showing... It's the 1st chapter so I'll reserve judgement for later but I do think this story would benefit from a rewrite of Bobby's conversation with Sam.
