LiteraryGirl4Ever chapter 1 . 5/3/2019 Beautiful! I could hear Arwen’s soft voice in my head. |
megSUPERFAN chapter 1 . 3/30/2019 This is wonderful, so thought-provoking. A touch of sadness, but not angst and gloom. Perfect. :) |
r8tedG chapter 1 . 9/26/2018 I love the line, 'all about me is faded and worn. Our twilight has come.' That is says so much in so few words, something I always strive for. 'He loves me for myself alone and not for the shadow of Luthien that lies upon me, and that is enough.' Also an excellent, poignant phrase. I love short works. I've read volumes of fan fiction that have said less of value than you have here. |
Ghostwriter71 chapter 1 . 9/22/2018 Beautiful Absolutely golden. Sheer poetry. This could have been written by Tolkien himself. Not to sound creepy, but have you ever written any original stories or poems? (I may have already asked this somewhere in the past, and if so I apologies for being repetitive.) Because if you have, I'd dearly love to read some of it, if you'd feel ok in sharing. And if you haven't...you really should. You have a God-given ability for writing. One I've rarely seen before. |
WillowDryad chapter 1 . 9/19/2018 This is lovely. Beautifully written. Well done. |
Wordspin chapter 1 . 9/19/2018 Beautiful piece, and most lovely prose. I do like the bittersweet notes throughout this, and how vividly Arwen's love for Aragorn shows, how strong her love for her people is. And the line that tells that kingship will /likely/ be given to Aragorn willingly is a real treat - it is a rare thing to find writings that regard Aragorn's accession to the throne as anything but universally accepted. |
JubileeKnight chapter 1 . 9/19/2018 I really love this concept! What it must have been like for Arwen growing up with that to live up to! I love the comparison and the contrast and what it means both for Arwen and Aragorn and for the greater world in which they live. Beautifully written! |
