Cherry Cereja chapter 1 . 6/17 Wow such a wonderful reading. I really like the idea of Ed as a teacher, and the whole tension was so palpable. What a good writing. Thanks for this piece :D |
ultimatequeenoffandoms chapter 1 . 8/23/2019 my goodness, this is such a fantastic story |
Guest chapter 1 . 12/27/2018 Fantastic story! It really gives a sense of perspective. |
Eagle Dreamer chapter 1 . 12/3/2018 Awesome |
Malak.Khaled chapter 1 . 11/16/2018 Omg I love this! Good job! |
gihihi chapter 1 . 10/21/2018 omfg this is so beautiful although reading this does not mix well with my current anxiety about university |
jackalopian chapter 1 . 9/30/2018 fantastic story. It captures the dark nature of the story, the eventual maturity of Ed while maintaining his actual personality, and fully creates a moment in time for readers to enjoy. |
Guest chapter 1 . 9/19/2018 There is need for another ranger apprentice story |
wrongnotes chapter 1 . 9/21/2018 What a good oneshot! I love the way you showed things escalating and Ed's reactions to it, especially since he'd probably react way differently if he were still a teenager. I see post-canon fics that dance around Ed's feelings on the past but never one that highlights his growth since then like you have. I love the way you've subtly shown how everything is going in the future without being explicit about it. Really great job! |
Guest chapter 1 . 9/18/2018 This is so perfect! |
outlawpoet chapter 1 . 9/18/2018 lovely, and all too resonant. |
oakleaf chapter 1 . 9/18/2018 This was a really amazing journey! Your writing makes for very easy reading and the really interesting premise doesn't hurt at all. I love the idea of Professor Elric - I think he and Alphonse would both be fantastic teachers, if unconventional. Having tutored, the annoyance of having a student who fits the archetype of the know-it-all kid who has just a bit too much attitude really shines through. The ending is a wonderful resolution to the whole story. I had no idea where you were going with the circle until you got there but it really did round out the story perfectly. |
weslyn.johnson chapter 1 . 9/18/2018 Micheal or Mik-Kal got more than he bargains for...The teach him about pressing buttons or more or less pressing Ed's buttons. I love that the young ( will be a doctor) college girl asked if Al was okay, after hearing all of that. That was really sweet of her and oh irony has a way of sneak up on you. |
Sidekicks-anonymous chapter 1 . 9/18/2018 This was excellently written and sweet. I've always liked the idea of Ed becoming a teacher. |
Id9916 chapter 1 . 9/18/2018 I love professor Elric, he's clearly well-suited for the job. In particular I found hilarious that his superiors will always complain about his behaviour, no matter what his job is. On a more serious side, I like the concept of 'closing a circle' and how you portraied it, giving Ed something peaceful to think about. Very well done, please keep up the good work! |
