Okay, so I actually have this headcannon that Piper and Leo were together before Jason came to the Wilderness school, because if you think about it, it makes sense. Piper's fake memories of her with Jason could have actually been real memories of her with Leo, just changed by Hera. Also, Leo is already insecure, which would make it easy for Hera to play off that and make him believe that he was never with Piper.
