Probably one of the longest fanfictions I've ever finished. 100% worth it.
So, Jily with a side of Wolfstar is just the perfect combo, always. The romance was played perfectly, but I think I enjoyed reading their friendship even more, it was so sweet! James is often written as a complete ass, but I much preferred this, still cheeky, but sweet and geeky James, plus I think he's now a much better match for Lily. Talking of Lily, I often find her a bit annoyingly perfect, but you made her character flawed, though still likeable. You kept these characters personalities, but made them your own so that they feel more honest.
I also loved the other, less major characters. Remus and Sirius were so sweet, and I liked the thing about Lily's crush on Remus, because those two are so compatible. I'm pleased Sirius was written differently to James (yay!) because sometimes they come across as having basically the same personality. Although Marlene wasn't featured much, I'm glad she was there for Lily, it was nice that Lily had another really kind friend.
And of course, Snape. I'm glad you mentioned her crush on him, for all the Snily lovers out there. I agree that although she belongs with James, she did once have on Snape, and I think there fractured relationship was portrayed well. If I had one criticism, I would say you made Snape a little too evil and needy. Her crush seemed to turn into hate very drastically, and I personally think she still kinda misses the friendship they used to have. However, I can't really criticise you, you are such an amazing writer and I love your stories.
I love fanfictions based of books, but you need to get the balance right (you totally did btw!) I haven't read the book of watched the film, but I know the basic plot, and it didn't stop me from enjoying this. In fact, it made me want to read the book! I think (though of course I don't know that much about the book) that you stayed true to the original but still made it unique and interesting!
I only found one typo, and it was pretty minor, so don't worry about it considering the length of the story.
As you may have guessed, I adored this! Maybe you could do another fic based of the same book but for a different romance? Next gen? It would make me very happy! If not, just keep your story coming, particularly Jily!

I loved it so much, and I liked that you changed it from letters to just bullet points. It just worked so well and I couldn't stop reading it. This was so well written, and I can't find other words to describe it. I will read anything that you write for those two.
