Tenebrae means Shadow
If girl: Etoile meaning star
Eclàir meaning Lightning

personally I love long chapters, as for the children names though since it’s a girl(s) then color variations names: sable (black), tawny (yellow-brown). Non color variation names I would suggest: Mila, Maya, Gwyn, or Anri

Just a note as I'm reading through this you fairly commonly write "raze" when you mean raise as in raising a child. "Raze" means to completely destroy something commonly through burning. Just thought I'd let ya know.
