Very satisfying! I loved how you did this. Good feelings from both Draco and Snape, excellent. Their mutual longing for family was palpable and lovely. I especially liked the line about Snape not knowing how to be a father and barely being a son. This definitely makes it feel more of a complete story, and shifts the point of the story away from Harry a bit too. In some ways this kind of puts Snape and his transformation at the center, which is very interesting indeed. And that little speech of Draco's was hysterical - "I could tell you about six things you rightly could have given me that whipping for, that you nothing about...so don't feel TOO bad about it. Maybe I can just keep that for a 'raincheck credit'?" LOL! So Slytherin!

This was a nice conclusion to the intensity of the last chapter. Connected, loving, good. If you have room for a little more I'd love to see how Draco and Snape did after everything.
