Despite the fact that this is a simulation (a rather cruel one IMHO) I hope that the two AIs find some form of compromise. I've often wondered whether Kitt and Karr could've reconciled within the canon of the series. (Unlikely but one can dream.)

If you could continue this, I'd really appreciate it. I know that it's been ages, but I'm interested as to why this would be a simulation, and my best guess is that it has something to do with the fact that KARR is driven by self preservation, just like humans, and KITT's primary function is to protect human life, so they can both improve - KARR learning morals and KITT becoming less what would be considered emotionally and psychologically dependent.
