Dude, this is better and more I character then what my murder happy brain would have thought for that particular episode. It's actually the reason I stopped watching religiously... And that Penny was gonna eventually end up with skeezy Leonard. God I hate his character (though the actor I like, but mostly cause Im a huge Rosanne fan and had a huge crush on David and his doting ways...). Shit man, this made me tear up a few times and had me so fucking stoked by the end on how you tied in Leonard's disregard for proper legal conduct (really, how did he not see that spy was just using him? Fucking idiot). And! AND! You kept Howard and Raj as still good characters! Like, holy fuck! I am so happy I read this but also so sad it ended...

I agree with you, I don't see the betrayal as something that Sheldon over exaggerated, he was (for once) justified. He trusted them and they betrayed his trust with something that he takes more serious than anyone, his work.

I like it Leonard was really bad in that arc a supervillain without compared.
I would miss the his canon girlfriend... but the other guys could meet their respective girlfriends anyway.

although it would explain Leonard's behavior thanks to his mom... :

Love it. Mire like what would really happebed in the real world. To be honest I could not understand why the show handle it like it was nothing mire than a prank.

I love this! This is how it should have happened. Leonard is NOT a nice guy. Glad someone else agrees that what he did was wrong.

I absolutely love this pairing and altering of the timeline. The scandal at the artic and how penny helps Sheldon...love it. I wish there were more stories with this plot.

Loved this very much! Thank you for writing and sharing it. I could never get past the Arctic betrayal as canon seemed to require us to do, and this was a very satisfying way to address it.

I loved it! I wish this was canon. And I agree with you on the whole sabatage incident. Leonard got off way too easy and he didn't seem that regretful either, which is what I didn't like. I always felt that Penny chemistry with Sheldon...in the later episodes of the series, I feel like Penny just gave in to the relationship and just conformed.
