This is good, I'd give it a 7.5/10. I like the way you handled setting and interactions. I would like to see what you do next with this.

Don't worry, you didn't drag it out at all in my opinion. I think it was well paced and showed Asuka's snark pretty well, not to mention Shinji being an apoligetic mess. I also like how you set up possible plot points for the future and your level of detail for a post apocalyptic city. You even managed to make it the reason they met and still added depth to that with how they didn't talk to each other the first few times. I'll be happily waiting for part two c:

Good luck. A post-3I story is a hard one, with all the traumas of the late series to deal with. Always happy to see Shinji and Asuka have a chance, though.

Post 3rd impact stories are my favorite! and you've covered things that normally havent been in most of these stories. Great start and look forward to more chappies!
