| Morrowing chapter 2 . 6/9 A lot of the interactions, reunions and whatnot are really cool, and the episode stuff is great. But holy crap, please put dialogue and the words denoting the speaker on the same line! It's hard to follow who's talking. Also, why is Ichigo being treated like the Soul King itself with everyone kowtowing to him? He's not a direct descendant of the Soul King or Yhwach as far as canon is concerned, he just has a blood connection to Yhwach just like every other Quincy, though he's not even a pureblood one. All the praise and respect feels kinda gary stu-ish. It's not like the others treat him differently in canon because of it, I don't even recall anyone caring all that much about the Soul King anyway. Also, does Ukitake suddenly have Tuberculosis instead of possession by Mimihagi just for the promise of being cured? |
