   Daarklyte chapter 12 . 4/30 It is an interesting premise for a story, but it is difficult for the reader to get invested in what is going on with the characters. You have this momentous thing happen H&Hr and yet most of your focus is in Andromeda and Ted. This wouldn’t necessarily be a bad thing, but the reader doesn’t understand why they are so much more important than H&Hr (which is the impression we are left with based on the allocated screen time for the characters). Given your initial premise we would expect to see a lot of focus on H&Hr...how are they coping...how are they getting back...will they get back...if not what are they going to do? You touched on them trying not to change things but if they are stuck then their being there goes from minor to major impact. Especially since Harry is fated to confront Voldemort. After 12 chapters I was kind of hoping to have a little hint on where this was going but for the moment I am just lost. Thank you for writing though and I will keep an eye out for future chapters. |
| Aurora Nightstar chapter 1 . 10/4/2019 What an exciting start with plenty of action. If I liked Draco better, I would actually feel sorry for him, but nah! As soon as she said ‘shit’ I knew exactly who it was who entered. I like the contrast between how good and evil characters behave with Bellatrix killing the minions that failed, while Harry and Hermione simply healed each other. Very good first chapter. |
