This was a very powerful story and when the team was taking fire you had me on the edge of my seat. The angst, pain, and emotion were unbelievable and very few writers can do what you do Jericho. The epilogue almost had me in tears, but then when you wrote than Kensi was pregnant I knew everything would be all right. Only a writer of your caliber could make me feel every word. Amazing story

I'm a french woman, fan of NCIS and specially of Deeks. Sorry for my pretty bad english, but I want to say you I like your story.

Yesterday evening, I couldn't stop reading your story. I couldn't believe you kill Deeks just when they are saved, and I cried a lot.

Thanks a lot for this story, it will stay in my favories for a moment.
I like the fact you tell Deeks'death seen by someone outside of the team. You describe the reactions of all the characteres quickly, and I appreciate that you don't insist too much on Kensy's desespair. With these few lines, everybody can understand that she feels.
And I like a lot the 7 last lines... All that dispared with Deeks... It 's so sad.

The other chapter are amazing too, I like the alternation between the reality and what happens in Deeks'head, his memories, his dreams and his fears.
But I mus recognize I almost stopped my reading after the few first lines, because surfing don't interest me. Fortunately your presentation made me want to read the following.

OK you got me with this one! Yes very well written as always but I did not see his death coming until it was too late! And you're right if you had labeled it as a death "tragedy" I would not have been so excited to read this and would have choose to read it at a different time than I did. (but I would have still read it).
So with that said I think an update on the Broken Road is in order...no matter how small or how many errors it may contain! So here's hoping an update in still coming in 2018 but if not I'll just have to reread one of your other good... no great stories.

Wonderful ending to such a powerfully written story. After Chapter 8 I actually thought that Kensi being pregnant would be a good ending, but there would be no way I would even attempt to try it myself. The beach scene, the ocean waves and the windy "kiss" really got to me...tragic but so beautifully written. I'm glad you're working again on The Broken Road - an awesome story - and are you going to complete Aunt Hetty some day?

First, I hope that your medical emergency is done with you, and that you and yours are able to have a happy and healthy holiday season and new year.

Second, this was, as all of your stories are, amazing. Yes, the ending was dark (I could actually hear Kensi's plaintive cry at the end of the last chapter), and this one brought tears to my eyes as well, but it was so well done that I can't complain. It just fit. And, you *did* have a little light at the end, so no apologies needed. That small touch with Monty and Kensi was just perfect - man's (and woman's) best friend just knows certain things.

I hope that we can look forward to many, many stories of yours. In the meantime, peace and health.

It is a tragedy but your end is beautiful

Beautiful chapter. It had me crying.

Now look what you did. You went and made me cry. The hints were there, and as Deeks might say...”you know how much I like happy endings”...I just didn’t want to think you would go there. That said...what you wrote was believable in the context of what we saw in that last episode. Funny how we can get so emotional over the death of a fictional character. But Deeks is one of a kind and your story made me realize just how sad his departure would have been for the show. You made me feel that loss deeply, and that’s what makes you such a good writer. I am glad the show kept him around though...cause I so do like a happy ending. Hang tough, Marine. I’m quite sure there are more good stories floating around in that brain of yours.
