ColorGuardSweetHeartHottieFury chapter 13 . 10/4/2018
Love the story so far, but couldn't help/resist reviewing about part of the conversation between Tom and Kevin... the part where they were talking about his past after his wife died, how he was angry and regretted building missile systems... saying it was in a sense "blood on his hands" struck me well. It reminded me heavily of the film 'Eye in the Sky' (2015) if you haven't seen it I highly recommend that you check it out. Basicallythe film portrays various People of differing power, facing a delema to bomb this building holding several terrorists or risk loosing them. One specifically is a home grown terrorist that's super dangerous. However, a little girl gets in the way of the building selling her families goods for money to help their livelyhood. The bombing is halted and the very really question soldiers face, is argued. What is humanly right? It goes from the pilots sitting safely on the ground in small room on the computers refussing till shes gone, those in offices who give the command, officers, government officals, literal war room etc... In a way it is a psychological drama asking what is/who is in the right in war? In a way either decision would land with blood on their hands, and they have to determine which stains they would be willing to live wiith and go to bed with.,. And the movie ends making you feel just as sick as if you had just as much involvment in the crimes as those in the films. Its one you have to prepare yourself to watch in a sense emtionally.
Just that small area brought that amazing movie I probably haven't watched (as criminal as it is) since it came out, back to me. It's very questions and ongoing sickening feel came back in a burst and I felt for him, feeling if not understanding his guilt as if that movie was a part of this and he was one of the hundreds implemented by the decisions of many for the supposed good of free people.
I just couldn't read on without mentioning this (sorry if this sounds weird at all. It's 4am and I havent slept yet, cause I want to finish this story tonight.)
