The Divine Comedian chapter 10 . 6/24/2019
I am really enjoying this fic! Great characterisation and attention to detail. The Murder Robes made me laugh, I still can't get over how ridiculously evil the Black family is. Looking forward to reading more :)
Kinap chapter 8 . 6/9/2019
This is one of the Best marauder era fanfictions ever
nina chapter 5 . 6/9/2019
great story
Liz Jean Tonks chapter 10 . 12/30/2018
In many ways I love this fanfiction. I don't like the marauderers much and I never felt great sympathy towards Sirius, but I do feel pity towards him. What happened at his home seems very realistic and your writing style is beautiful. Everyone being so much in character; James is a cheek, McGonaggall starts offering bisquits, Sirius is a bit cheeky, too, Kreacher being Kreacher, Malfoy being a git towards James Potter, the entire "toujours-pur"- stuff, Peeves was awesome, I cannot stop naming things I like! What I also loved was that little detail with Sirius not remembering Peter's name, and yeah, everything.
Great work! Please continue it!
JAMESnSIRIUSForever chapter 2 . 12/5/2018
Gosh, I love this so much! Your writing is perfection. I am a huge Sirius fan, and have read so much fan fiction centered on him that my Firefox Folder has 30 Bookmark categories dedicated solely to Sirius.
And this, in my opinion, is one of the best characterizations of Sirius I have ever read, especially of a young Sirius black. In fact, I would rate it amongst the top 5.
Sirius is adorable: witty, perceptive, DRAMATIC (!), intelligent, prone to be bored, easily angered and a little ball of energy. There are beginnings of his dissatisfaction with his family, his love for muggles.
Regulus and Mrs. Black are very well written too. Often, people write Walburga as this cruel, tyrant like lady from the start. But here, she is more believable, while showing signs of her future-self (when Sirius was sorted into Gryffindor and when he ran away.) Her distaste of him is perfectly plausible: she (and the rest of the Blacks, including Kreacher and the portraits) doesn't accept him for who he is, and it will worsen as he grows up. Yet, she still loves and cares for him in her own way.
Also, The way Sirius and Regulus care for each other and how Regulus persuades Kreacher to save Sirius (a perfect foreshadowing of his Slytherin traits) is very well done.
The cameo by James was wonderful to read.
Thank you for this amazing piece of work.
Looking forward to read more of your work in future.
Best wishes.

PS: Goodbye, cruel world, he thought, dramatically (because if ever there was a time for drama, this was certainly it). Goodbye, Regulus. Goodbye, Hogwarts. Goodbye, friendly black dog from Number Eleven that I'll never get to pet now. Goodbye, Kreacher... hang on. Ha..ha... Sirius' narration makes me laugh so hard. Love this fic.

Guest chapter 9 . 10/21/2018
This is really really really really really really really good. Can you please do a sequel? If you could, fifth year would be really interesting. You could do the whomping willow thing and then sirius running away
ladylunafreya chapter 10 . 10/12/2018
Wonderful story. It's been a while since I've been so excited about a marauder first year Hogwarts story. You have a good way of portraying the characters. I'm definitely hoping for more. cheers
Clarke chapter 10 . 9/27/2018
I love young James Potter! He’s cheeky and arrogant, but in a charming way. Poor McGonagall having to deal with him. I have to say I was surprised by the continual howlers because it seemed a bit too much (even for Sirius’s deranged mother), but I liked how it was resolved with McGonagall stepping in.
Zharkhella chapter 10 . 9/27/2018
I am enjoying this story and the characterizations.
Iniga chapter 10 . 9/27/2018
Aww. Hogwarts usually turns a blind eye to all sorts of nasty behavior, but I’m glad McGonagall decided to draw the line this time to give Sirius a chance at making his own way without the public humiliation and emotional abuse. And to spare everyone’s eardrums.
Chasmfiend chapter 10 . 9/26/2018
I really like your characterization of McGonagall in this. She's stern and doesn't take nonsense from anyone- including Walburga Black. And I think that stopping Sirius's mail is an excellent way to stop his mother's venom from disturbing everyone during breakfast.
