A lovely continuation to the story, I liked how you addressed a lot of the questions that the first chapter brought up.

Interesting choice too to have Mythra and Pyra not remember what happened to their body after they gave their whole core to Rex. I guess that does avoid the many questions their experience in those final moments might raise about the Xenoblade version of the afterlife (i.e. Malos, free of malice, somehow from beyond the grave asking them what it was like to have lived).

An interesting take on the concept of Mythra and Pyra becoming mortal. I was surprised though that while this was talked about, you didn't mention that them having children was even more remarkable. We have a precedent for blades aging (i.e. flesh eaters), but none that could reproduce in a conventional way (blades can have sex certainly, but the only way we know of for them to reproduce is to use their accumulated data to become titans and then produce more core crystals).

And kudos for having Rex marry Nia, Pyra and Mythra. I find that seems the most likely result based on what we see in the game and title screens, and this is one harem ending I can really get behind.

If I was to offer any criticisms it would only be that the sheer number of kids darting in and out of the story made it a little hard to keep track of things at times. It wasn't clear to me either just what had happened to get the one injured and others so dirty.

I am curious that there was no mention of Azurda though. I find it unlikely that he would give up living near Rex, though his size would prevent him from taking part in household activities of course. And if Dromarch was looking after the kids then why didn't we see or hear about him as they arrived home?
