OH MY GOD THAT WAS SO CUTE! I was basically smiling the whole time. I wouldn't mind a whole series written about these two. PLEEEEEAAAASSSEEE do more of this! I wanna know how their date goes!

This was cute! I'm not a massive fan of really persistent James because it comes off a little creepy, but I did really like certain details of the way you portrayed it. First of all, I love that Lily considered it a prank - I think it's actually probably quite true to where she was at the time, in the environment of being hated for being Muggleborn. It's a really nice detail.

And I like that James was sort of casually persistent as opposed to chasing her around, just dropping her a note every now and then, and I love the idea that James knew that she wasn't turning him down for the right reason, so he knew what he had to do. The only part I didn't really like was the idea of having a plan, like she was some sort of task to master.

THAT SAID, I thought their interactions were really really cute, and I love the last section. I also love the section where they're talking about being aurors, I felt it was really in character for both of them - James' line about checking his note was flawless.

And I also love the effort you took to put in a password for the Fat Lady portrait, that was just the cherry on top! Really nice fic!
