I know it's a long shot but I just found your fic and I love it! Any chance you'll pick it back up?

Really love your take on Erestor in this! I was LOL in the first chapter; Glorfindel was able to kill a balrog, but could barely subdue Erestor. :) The pace is very good here, only I thought maybe this last chapter could've been split into two (I couldn't honestly tell you where, though). Great job overall, looking forward to more! Well done!

Great chapter! The 'interrogation' did not disappoint. Captain Dauchon and others survived cataclysms - so no wonder they are a testy bunch. You portray them and their interactions with Glorfindel well. Poor Erestor is back off to his cell. It's hard to see any other possible course of action. Looking forward to the next chapter!

Wow, I just stumbled upon your suspenseful story. Love your character development for Erestor. Interesting plot line - with Elves from the east, a returned Glorfindel, blue wizards and a vampire! Is it Elrond who Eludor resembles? Looking forward to the next chapter!

This is a very interesting and unconventional start for a story. It's good to see Erestor out of his normal state-a dried-up and acerbic advisor with a perpetual frown. He's becoming a more realistic character, with human (Elven?) passions, flaws, good points. As a side note, I've only ever read him with a brother in one other story (that I wish I could remember the name of!).
My only comment is watch punctuation\ example "He is not your blood is he" should be revised to "He is not your blood, is he?"
Otherwise, great job! I look forward to chapter 4.

Thank you. :) It has been interesting to guess what sort of a menace is troubling the blue wizards, and who could have assaulted the patrol. If I guess correctly, the rings of power have been already forged and given... and have reaped their result.
