Darnic is slowly making himself into a vampire using both his and Lancer of Black's blood.

I bet Darnic is a descendant of Vlad's, and he used his own blood as the catalyst to summon Lancer of Black.

I know what will happen, Darnic will utilize the blood he has gotten from Lance of Black to steal his Noble Phantasm and activate it on himself to turn himself into Dracula to get the Grail for himself while Lancer of Black and the other Servants of Black hold off the enemy...only to lose himself to the bloodlust.

I doubt Mordred wasted a Command Seal so easily like that. They know how important they are, and maybe it was just a spike in Mordred's power that felt like a Command Seal power.

I honestly cheered out loud when I saw this had updated.

The recent event in FGO has put me in an apocrypha mood and this story reminds me why I fell in love with these characters

If Sigurd were to gain an equal dose of Blood from Mordred, he would hold the blood of BOTH former adversaries to the Sabers. The blood of Fafnir and the blood of King Arthur.

Not to mention it would serve as an actual "blood pact" to show the union/alliance Mordred would have with Siegfried and the rest of the Black Faction.

Ruler X Lancer of Black is meant to happen, isn't it?

It would be ironic that Mordred would want to beat Sigurd only to later giver him a sample of his own blood, wouldn't it?

That way, he could have the blood of TWO Sabers; one with the blood of Fafnir and the other with the blood of King Arthur. Now that would be something to help foster stronger relations, wouldn't it?

With how exhilarated both are, it is quite clear that Siegfried and Mordred are drawn to each other. It was almost like they are exchanging flirtatious banter near the end before engaging.

I hope Gordes and Siegfried will be able to spend some time interacting with Caules, Fiore, Frankenstein, and Chiron after the battle.
