Excellent job with the first chapter

So, hey, I like how original your work is shaping up to be. Not sure if you're going to pursue the Grass-type specialist route or not, but I'd love it if that were the case. Also, it's super interesting to read about an older Ash who's kinda introspective (like, down to earth and observant and curious about pokemon in general) taking the time to build his team, especially since he seems to be putting significant value on forming deep bonds instead of just forging ahead with no plan or care whatsoever. Kudos for that!

Not going to lie, I am super excited about this fic. I'm really hoping that the hint I saw during the Spearow attack plays out, because I've never seen a fic with a Grass Specialist Ash before.

Really enjoyed this story, I do hope you go down the grass specialist route it's such an under used and appreciated typing in fanfiction. It also has a great machup against 6.5/8 gyms (0.5 from the common poison secondary typing). This Ash also doesn't seem like the isolates himself from all humans and thinks he knows better than literally anyone trope. Can't wait to see where you take the story

just a few issues, will ash catch anything else but weak grass types or just grass types in general, i mean i dont mind the starters, but really a hoppip? that trash of a pokemon? ash needs to start winning hes lost, like every battle hes been in so far, no offense meant just a few things i wanted to say

so both trainers are relatively new, the pidgey didnt know a flying type move, if it did it never used it, dino had been hatched for years, and im assuming trained for years, yet still lost? idk seems a bit ridiculous to me but whatever
