Nice way to round off the story. I particularly liked that you addressed the whole issue with Isaac's a** of a father, and how Derek was uncertain of himself most of the time - it makes him much more alive on the page, gives him more depth, than if you'd gone with "stern and certain". You are a talented writer - keep it up! :)
