DragonKnight15 chapter 50 . 7/21 I REALLY like the first half with Luna's hatred towards Rosethrone showing during her and Storm's training and Shooting Star's wise words. JEDI MASTERS, LEARN FROM HIM! Revenge is bad but don't forgive, just fight with a desire to stop her. Revenge is the most worthless of quests. I liked the message but we both know that won't change Luna... at least not right now, in 1000 years she will. But I also like Queen Blizzard watching them and admiring Shooting Star's honor and nobility, something she can trust... at the moment. HA! Chrysalis lost the war for Shooting Star's heart and she doesn't know it yet. Darkwing is a capable general to be honest, he's not careless like Ripfang but well lack of humor but that's the part that makes him a threat and I like how he has to argue with his remaining forces to stick to the mission or else. OH! SHOOTING STAR WAS COCKY BACK IN THE DAY! That's a real surprise but I like it! Plus his teachings to Storm and Luna to use weapons and that's good too! I like those ideas a lot! Overall, a setup for next chapter but I still enjoy it! I can't wait what comes next! Good chapter Redwall! |
DragonKnight15 chapter 49 . 7/7 Like anyone from any team not abandon their teammates during a test. Like... the Titans, or any group of Power Rangers- EXCEPT OPERATION OVERDRIVE BECAUSE MY GOD. Hell, Team Dragon Knight would stick together if they all had to do a test and the Guardian Seekers. Then again Hypogriphs have REAL trust issues. If they WERE in league with Rosethrone, her entire army would be here and burning everything while Rosethrone drains Hypogriphs dry, zombified them or snap their necks. WAIT THAT WAS THE TEST?! Some test... then again trust issues is a thing so yea. I can of expected more... but I guess it makes sense to learn how loyal Shooting Star is. NOW they all have to come up with a strategy because Darkwing WILL learn where the Hypogriphs are because birds and they need to be ready. Plus I do LIKE the setup trap to lure Darkwing in and also it's time for Storm Breeze to act like a true Pegasi Warrior so that's really awesome! And also I like that Storm wants no special treatment, she wants to be trained properly and strongly. I enjoy the chapter overall and look forward to next time. |
DragonKnight15 chapter 48 . 6/23 Alrighty, time for- Ah damn... Well Shooting Star and friends arrive to speak to the Hypogriphs' rulers for their aid against Rosethrone. Dragons will be hard, but not as hard as Griffins. As long as Shooting Star can show a sense of pride to the dragons and a challenge, they will accept. Griffins... NOT SURE. Yaks, even less. Anyway... God Hypogriphs need to test SHOOTING STAR, so they can all work together to fight ROSETHRONE. I mean unlike the Storm King, Rosethrone is a bigger threat and power to do so... BUT FINE, as Hypogriphs' trust issues is their greatest flaw and Shooting Star will show them the trust he has with his comrades, accepting them into this test and hopefully not letting a certain flying menace of a bird overhearing this and setting a trap to have the Hypogriphs to not trust Shooting Star... I HOPE. Good chapter, I liked it! |
DragonKnight15 chapter 47 . 6/8 Back to the fight, our brave heroes try to fight the Maulwolf while others distract and hold off Rosethrone. Her mistake is not doing the same damaging blow to Celestia like before... unless Celestia came up with a counter in case that would happen twice. That would be clever if it happened again... just saying what sh is the best line... because it's Rosethrone making a stunning, furious expression going to kill these hares for mocking HER PROUD NAME. And twice with Rosethring. Meanwhile Shooting Star and comrades have arrive to speak with the Hypogriphs who of course not surprising that they don't trust her... good thing Shooting Star has a strong and firm voice to accept his word and also "Rosethrone" magic word solves pretty much everything. Okay Ashpaw's plan was pretty good to use Ripfang's overconfidence and gets owns for this, losing his forces and runs away injury. Thanks to that everyone gang up at the Maulwolf and killed it for good. Rosethrone has lost and forced to retreat. Okay even though our brave furry friends handle Rosethrone, she still leech out her seeds at a few, including Sergent Snow... that means it will take a matter of days before well... she's a plant zombie. Oh I have a bad feeling about this. This was STILL a good chapter! |
DragonKnight15 chapter 46 . 5/25 Not a surprise. While Celestia could sense Rosethrone is doing something, the evil Alicorn is making her move by unleashing her zombied Maulwolf from the back of the castle. The worst scenario: A two sided attack. This is really bad. Meanwhile yes, Shooting Star is right as the Hypogripes are very unease to trust others so his group have to be careful to get them as allies at least temporary to help stop Rosethrone. Will they accept? Questionable but unlike Twilight, Shooting Star will manage. The last scene will reflect to Celestia's future and the kind of ruler she will be during FIM era. Regardless, we'll just have to figure out if Celestia will survive. Good chapter. Looking forward to the next since Shooting Star is running out of time. |
DragonKnight15 chapter 45 . 5/11 So while things are bad in the Castle of the Two Sisters with fire rocks and Rosethrone returning with her fully controlled Mauwolf plant zombie to end this war in her favor, it's happy and candy in Shooting Star's side. They have to convince and get the Hypogriphs to help them and I can imagine THIS will be tricky but knowing Shooting Star unlike Twilight, he will get them to help him since Rosethrone is too dangerous to let her going. That and after almost getting captured again, Luna wants Shooting Star to train her alongside Storm... and confess her feelings for him. She realized, no doubt from Storm, that life is too short and she doesn't want to regret not acting on. If she can admit her feelings for him, then it's worth it... and Shooting Star felt the same. It was also perfect that Storm Breeze was fake sleeping and reveals how happy to see her brother with someone beautiful and strong like Luna. It was a good scene, just amazing that Luna made her move and won in the end... won't say the same with Chrysalis. No doubt about it. But that's for next time. Good chapter Redwall. A lot of twists and reveals but concern with how Celestia is handling the problem about to arrive during the siege. |
DragonKnight15 chapter 44 . 4/29 The battle on Shooting Star's side continues and we get to see this is basically Storm Breeze's first battle and the rush excites but scares her. Her brother calms her down as he and Evergreen confront the Rosethrone clone and the battle was impressive! I like the weakness on the clone that she would handle more than 1 enemy at a time, like how the original handle Celestia and Luna. And Shooting Star with his wings back to 100% But the clone discover this was a distraction and confronts Storm Breeze who was freeing the ship from the spider vines. The clone confronts her and the fight is really impressive. I like how well Storm Breeze handle herself but without training she couldn't handle the clone much but thanks to her speed and wind powers as a Warrior Pegasus, she beaten the Rosethrone clone from the leaking of magic from the two arrows and the wind tornado shredding her apart. Shooting Star was impressed and relieve as his group had to head back though he would be worry what the clone said before. The real Rosethrone was PISSED at losing her clone but that gives her more of a reason to win this war and kill Shooting Star once and for all and all those who stay in her way. Good chapter and setup with the zombiefied plant infected Maulwulf to be used next time. I look forward to it! |
DragonKnight15 chapter 43 . 4/15 Excellent chapter, by the way. I like how we're getting back to the Shooting Star's side of things with the Rosethrone clone and her forces of Darkwing and Iron Will trying to capture the aircraft with that seemingly surprise attack. It sort of work but sort of as Shooting Star's group saw through it. But the real plan is obviously to recapture Storm Breeze which Shooting Star saw through too. I also liked the spider web vine trap from the Rosethrone clone. Anyway Queen Evergreen does well to fight the vermin to protect Storm Breeze but Storm can fight too. And then Shooting Star appeared to fight Iron Will and MAN does it get interesting with Shooting Star snapping. AH... This is a good thing you added for Warrior Pegasus to have that curse that makes them into berserkers and like the key to killing Rosethrone too. Thanks to Storm, Shooting Star didn't finish Iron Will and no doubt he will have days of sweat of terror for the pain and beaten Shooting Star gave him. This was a good chapter, now I'd imagine Storm Breeze might be able to cut through the trap the Rosethrone clone trapped them in but only one way to find out. Good chapter! |
DragonKnight15 chapter 42 . 4/3 A lot of spelling error, but decent. I do agree with Rosethrone and Ripfang on this one... other than Shining Armor, all of Celestia's guards are complete idiots and morons. Like badly... it's embarrassing. Anyway, Rosethrone's plan commences with Ripfang leading the charge and Captain Ashpaw could feel something wrong with this. Plus I like the chat between both opposing captains, really amusing. Even Celestia could feel something bad about to happening, hoping she can discover it before it is too late. I really enjoy this chapter even if it's small because it sets up the real terror soon. |
DragonKnight15 chapter 41 . 3/18 For how... surprising yet more entertaining the last chapter was, this one should be just the same. Once more Luna and Celestia, you're not exactly at fault for what has happened. You two were tricked by the cunning and con game of Rosethrone that before you two knew what could happen, it was far too late. So it's not your faults... but Luna won't learn that lesson until 1001 years later. I did like that Chrysalis points out the obvious, even mimicking what she said while morphing into her. I gotta remember to do something like with Katherine and Lucia in the future. Anyway, I agree with this Chrysalis... and ironically because one is destined to be good or evil; it just depends on the person. In this case, even if Rosethrone wasn't taken in by a tyrant, it's likely her desire to rule would make her evil. Or in this case with Chrysalis, jealously of those with love. *SLOW CLAP* OH WOW, Iron Will, I look forward the day Takuma Sparkle kills you and he will. Anyway, Rosethrone's clone has lost her patients and decides to kill her enemies and torture Storm Breeze for ruining her plans. And now the dick of a minator is helping the clone. Like always, Shooting Star senses the smell of danger and prepares a defense while Storm gets to know Evergreen... and YES, feed her geez. Just feed her. Next time will be exciting too! I really enjoy this chapter too. |
DragonKnight15 chapter 40 . 3/2 I'm happy at the start of the chapter you didn't reveal a new OC to spoil the chapter. I would have liked that Shooting Star shows concern of worry for Luna that it affects his thinking but not by much, still thinking like a smart warrior should. OH! The Trogan Horse plan. Nice. I like how Shooting Star thinks and yes! Wings at full strength, now try to outspeed him! Now it's still tricky but with the Changelings, he might pull it off. ... Oh boy, the retcon of Shooting Star. I was going to have a bit of a rant but you beat me to it Redwall with the back story I wanted for a long time for this story: Shooting Star's backstory before being Brocktree's adoptive son... and having a sister! I'm chuckled that Shooting Star thought Storm Breeze was his mother... like the time Naruto met Kushina, his mother, and he assumed she was the Nine-Tails in human form... she punches him like Sakura would since her temper is WORST than hers but WAY MORE ENTERTAINING and I love it. OOH... OH... Remember how much I dislike Hotaru's last chapter, this Shooting Star's chapter was a masterpiece. Oh... oh so good! I wish you had more like a whole flashback chapter showing more of Shooting Star and Storm Breeze's parents, the young Rosethrone and her plot that killed one of the hidden and strong Pegasus Warrior tribe. OH MAN THIS IS BRILLIANT! I like Storm Breeze so far. She's not like Shooting Star in fighting as a warrior (I'd expect a chapter of Shooting Star training her the basics) but she's skilled with her Pegasus abilities more so than Shooting Star and she knows healing magic, which was a major factor for his group. PERFECT. I like her and how she was still enslaved in this part of Equestria. Like fate would put it, they were meant to meet one day. So the plan proceeds, work really quickly and Shooting Star sort of engages Darkwing and the Rosethrone's clone and THEN we got to see Storm Breeze's strong storms... I kinda wish that destroyed the Rosethrone's clone so the real one gets pissy and has to make another. Anyway the princesses and queen are rescue and well I HOPE there's a bit of- what's the word... Storm Breeze and Luna should get along a lot. Exactly that. So can we say it is also destiny that Shooting Star must end Rosethrone once and for all too right? Overall, fantastic chapter! Early but enjoyable! |
DragonKnight15 chapter 39 . 2/19 Even Rosethrone shows no mercy to her own zombie plant creatures, especially a Maulwolf. I like her idea of making it not fear of fire by burning it alive. It's clever... and brutal for her men and the undead creature. And once more showing her rage, temper, cruelty and impatience. Ripfang is lucky she hasn't killed him yet and won't if he fails her again. I also like the Braveheart statement of seeing/involving in battle than watching over the evil princess. Oh Ruro... how wrong you are oh ho. That made my day on how ironic that statement is. Celestia was right, she should worry and keep a closer eye on her little sister... and certain she's captured. I mean they are princesses of the Sun and Moon; they have a strong connection. Like that's the reason why Nightmare Moon was able to overpower Celestia. Anyway Ashpaw is right, a third attack will happen and if he's not ready or every beast, they'll be dead. Hopefully next time Shooting Star forms a plan to save Luna, Evergreen and Chrysalis. We can only hope... I would like it if Shooting Star could fly again and make a dramatic appearance with his flight and speed to out beat Darkwing and handle Rosethrone's clone. JUST SAYING... Good chapter, looking forward to next time. |
DragonKnight15 chapter 38 . 2/5 Okay so Shooting Star's plan is to get on the aircraft while freeing as many ponies as he and his allies can which Evergreen and Chrysalis did a good job taking down vermin with Ruff. And we get to see the clone of Rosethrone's weakness expose while Darkwing needed to be the one in charge and his trap would unfold and sadly it was Luna's rage towards Rosethrone that made it happen. I can't blame her but sides of Nightmare Moon is shown by her. She attacked the clone not aware it was a clone and fell for the trap. SADLY so did Chrysalis cockiness to mock Luna cause her and her mother to be trapped too by Darkwing's good ears. Real idiot move Chrysalis, more so than Luna. To think Rosethrone won a round for once, getting both the current Changeling Queen, Luna and Chrysalis like she wanted. Things are bad and it'll be up to Shooting Star to perform a rescue. Let's hope he can. Amazing chapter, good twist, hope next time things gets well... well after we check up on Celestia and her group. |
DragonKnight15 chapter 37 . 1/22 The chat with Shooting Star and Luna was nice but also they came up with some of the threats they are placed in which they inform their group in the morning. So now they will need to meet Rockhoof who tells them that Darkwing and his forces CAPTURED the city under Shooting Star's nose? That's shocking. Geez... so now Shooting Star has to help save the city and its people from the enemy. Well it's a good thing the Rosethrone clones aren't smart like the original because if so, it would be problematic to game over. So it's hope Shooting Star can outsmart the clone. Next time should be interesting. Good chapter! |
DragonKnight15 chapter 36 . 1/7 Boy was today not Shooting Star's day. I mean trained to be a warrior, he should at least be able to hear a faint sound of bird wings flapping so to alarm him that something is off and the presence of danger being part pony. So he knows that his group is being followed just as they're near to their destination. ... Darkwing vs Lelouch. What's more interesting: A raven that understand the game of Chess or a guy who plays chess like a master while playing his one-vs-one Chess game with himself. I like how we got to know more of him and he's much different than Limestone. So on top of the army of Ravens and Vermin trying to hunt down Shooting Star and his party in the abandoned city, there's a clone of Rosethrone already in the city waiting to surprise our heroes ad put an end of them... AND Luna and Chrysalis are fighting over who's better for Shooting Star. Boy did Shooting Star's plan turn up-side down. First rule about war, love triangles should NOT be a thing. If it was Lelouch, he would geass both girls to get along no matter what. But of course this is fine, builds drama and Shooting Star is still very young to understand these dangers, same for Luna and Chrysalis. Anyway Martin's straw game work and Luna got to spend her time with Shooting Star while Chrysalis' obsession for him GROWS and we know how bad she becomes later on. I enjoyed the chapter a lot! Next time will become even more dangerous. |
