Same here it really stumps me how people could be so cultural stuck and yet gain the tech they had, heck they had laser guns and robots yet there computers are garbage truthfully I considered it one of the many reasons Fallout Earth destroyed itself they had all this advance tech but not the right mindset to use them properly, it's like giving a caveman a gun not going to end well. But I did read from terminals in game it turns out there were people who tried to bring change (60's) but were either
"reeducated", considered to be dangerous cults, or never heard from again which is basically meaning killed or maybe sent to be a guinea pig for the many unethical and inhuman experiments being preformed around the time. Yeah Fallout sure has some interesting lore if your willing to delve in to the ruins.

Courier and Lone Shit being the same person makes no sense. It is contradicted by New Vegas Lonesome Road. Where the courier Has been a part of ncr for quite a while.

Also, the most glaring one. Lone shit in full power armour and gatling laser almost dies to Benny? This is as dumb as it gets. I mean no offence by that, it just really bothers me, since no proper Fallout fan would even consider shitout 3 or 4 canon after how took a huge dump on the franchise and everything it stands for.

Hey, first time reader of this story, and from what I've read so far it looks like Yang is going to find her future boyfriend and Qrow is going to have a new drinking buddy...if our dear James doesn't get his booze taken away by Glynda or drinks it all first. (I highly advise against Glynda doing this, unless she has a death wish)
