I wanted too to know what did Tom do meanwhile he believed his best friend was killed.
Huckleberry is my favorite character, and when I was reading your fanfic I couldn't believe this.

I liked the little details, like how Pap had Huck in him, being his dad, and how that made Tom hesitate.

Please write more about Huck and Tom. You described how shocked aunt Polly was when she saw them playing together. But for Huck (who had a lot of loneliness in his life after his mother died and he was alone with his abusive father), it must have been wonderful to find a good friend. Maybe you could write more about Huck's childhood and how his friendship with Tom grew more and more.

I read this twice because it is so good written. I just love Huck Finn since I read Twain's books for the first time when I was still a little girl. There should be much more fanfic stories about him. I really hope you will write more stories about Huck and Tom.
