Happy birthday Mia! I can't believe you're seventeen now omw! So to celebrate your birthday I'll decided to review a fic of your that I haven't got around to yet as I sadly can't get you a present so this will just have to do (pfft what do mean this review is like a year and a half late I don't know what you're talking about). But yeah anyways I just really wanted to do something small for your birthday to mark the occasion so here it is!

Mia I cannot tell you how much fun and enjoyment I got out of rereading your oneshots like I just absolutely adore your writing and your writing style and this was so fun and just everything. It's literally only a few lines in and I already adore this fic. Just your humour in all your fics is everything?

That's what my father's closest associate said before he shot another man in the chest," Drew Tanaka says. "Also what my mother said before she threw the divorce paper's in my dad's face." Like omw I just love lines like this. Also Piper in this fic omw, at the beginning and her convinced that she should do a backflip, she just cracks me up. As that is so true in girls schools, like we can be either totally indifferent or act self-conscious in different situations.

Omw Octavian blatantly checking out Annabeth and then wiNkiNG at her and having the nerve to try hit on her *wheezes*. Omw I'm sCrEaMiNg this is just ahh so hilarious Octavian would so do that, like what on earth does he think he's doing, she's a tEacHer and he's being so inappropriate in his language.

Asdfghjkl I love how as soon as Annabeth sees Percy she starts thinking about how attractive he is ahh. And just how pissed off Annabeth gets cos she thinks Percy's making fun of her and has the audacity to not be raging. Also wft Octavian I can't believe he said that about the girls, that is so disrespectful and ugh you do such a good job of showing what a arse Octavian is. Also, Percy so disappointed with you, why would you agree? Like I know he's agreeing with the "just got here cos their daddies are rich" bit, which fair enough, is probably something people sometimes think about private schools in general, but to say that the comment isn't necessarily wrong when Octavian also demeans the girls? Like not cool man. I know he won't actually think that but he really should have thought about what he said a bit more huh. Also Annabeth flipping them both off while pretending to be mature teacher to her students and Percy cracking up omg hilarious.

Love how once again Annabeth is in the company of Percy and thinking how he has no right to be that annoyingly attractive hahaha. Also love how Piper and Reyna's payback plan was dissembling their piano and flushing it down the toilets, like that is hardcore also how the hell did they get into the school in the first place?! I just have so many questions . Annabeth, so disappointed you encouraged them, but I will admit that it was pretty cool.

Love how Annabeth comes out with her feminist speech and puts Percy in his place and makes him realise what he was implying by his response. And Percy being uncomfortable and realising that he messed up and how what Octavian and he said was out of line. Also Annabeth AGAIN commenting on Percy's attractiveness hahhahaha. Also love how smug she is at the idea of Percy having to apologise to her. Also Piper and Reyna's reaction to their punishment and Chiron taken aback by how happy they are omg.

So happy for Annabeth getting promoted and just her reaction, ahhh, also I love how you mention how Annabeth is struggling to get by, even though she works in a private school she's not well off and is basically kinda broke and it's so nice that this promotion means she can do simple little things now like buy sweets for the girls. And I feel like that's an important detail to add just before Percy gets annoyed at Annabeth, thinking everything is dandy for her and that her life is perfect and so easy. Also now looking back it makes sense that Percy is so mad and says that Annabeth wouldn't get it cos realistically they won't actually get their piano due to their douchebag principal.

Will trying to set up Annabeth and her being like nope nope stop meddling Will asdfghjkl I love it. Nico being concerned about if this is a good idea if Annabeth's not really interested and then Annabeth being like, "it's fine I know judo" *laughs*. Annabeth playing Monopoly with some of the girls, ooh I think you need to find some friends your own age as well Annabeth. Asdfghjkl Percy's her date! Not that it's a surprise really but ahhh. Also love how Annabeth thinks it could be karma for finishing Will's ice cream haha. And Annabeth finding him handsome again *cackles* girl you have something coming your way. Annabeth noting that he wears sweater vests and Percy joking that he's wild and for a few seconds they're kinda getting along and there could be a chance but then Percy winks at her and Annabeth's just not having it.

Annabeth running into Piper and that throwaway line about Drew's dad being in the mafia *splutters*. Also orange juice? And then Piper being worried how Annabeth'll take it that she's seeing someone from Glow Fire and Annabeth just being so concerned that Piper would think that matters and just generally acting properly about the situation and not trying to turn it into a Romeo and Juliet situation, which I'm so glad for. Hahaha everyone insisting Annabeth's on a date and she's like "it's just a meeting of mutual friends" over and over. Annabeth plotting Will's death haha.

Then this random guy trying to hit on Annabeth and thinking he can call her baby and assuming he knows what she wants to drink? No no we do not stan, that is just a terrible start in my opinion. And then Annabeth trying to be polite but direct and firm and Dylan just ignoring everything she's saying and thinking she's just playing hard to get just ahhh leave her alone you asshole. And then Percy trying to help and panicking and saying she's his sister omg. When I was reading the bit where they both make up stuff about the other to try make them sound crazy and keep on one upping each other... I was reading this at like 1am in the morning and I was laughing and trying so hard not to be loud and wake everyone up, I was in stitches. Literally just reread that bit there again and still found it just as funny and was laughing again.

The whole email chain, I just love and Percy making fun of Annabeth signing off all her email and then her calling him a child *giggles*.

Omg the security checks at the school and then the guard just causally saying that people have been arrested for weapons? Like this is why I wouldn't survive in a high school, it's like you're going through airport security each day just to attend sChooL. And obviously Percy's school is supposed to be worse off than the average school but still security in schools? I couldn't handle it. And Percy just casually talking about stabbing and knife incidents in the school omw, it's so funny seeing these two very different school experiences being paralleled with Percy nonplussed and Annabeth horrified.

It turning out that Octavian had hit on Reyna and then got rejected so he started to insult her and her school? Classic and then the fact that Reyna's gay, the situation's just hilarious and I love the satisfaction and enjoyment Thaila is getting from it all *laughs*.

And Percy messing and acting all heroic and talking about doing his duty as a feminist to step and help Annabeth and Piper lapping it all up and then asking if they'd date asdfghjkl. And Percy mouthing "razor-sharp jawline" behind Piper's back, like just about this scene is so amusing and fun to read. And the conditions on which Annabeth gives her number ahhh I love that bit especially.

Annabeth getting kicked out of the apartment by Will "if you don't go someone will die" Solace hahaha. Hazel seeing through Annabeth's act and being really nice about it and both of them getting really hopeful when Annabeth says she'll give it to her roommate aw. Love how the cakes are really for revenge though *laughs*. Also I'm just so heartbroken for the choir kids of Goode when we find out that the good for nothing Dionysius has spent all the money for the piano on the football team. Also what the hell is it with high school giving all the money to the sports department and completely neglecting music? This is like a throwback to that Disney movie Lemonade Mouth, have you ever seen it? And Annabeth getting outraged and finally seeing things from Percy's side, we love to see it. And then the phone call Annabeth gets from Percy and how she starts it *laughs my head off* and Annabeth playing innocent, I just love it all. Like I don't know how the hell she managed to pull that off, but I am throughly impressed. Also Percy scaring Annabeth for a minute thinking he's psychic when really he just has the set list omg. Honestly I just love the idea of Jason giving a class in seducing omg how do you come up with these, like this is just brilliant. Oh Piper, getting drunk and spilling all their secrets and rambling on about her teacher, she is just adorable. I love how funny Percy just finds the whole situation ah. And the way Annabeth ends the conversation, like she just cracks me up. I love how grumpy she is and acting like she regrets getting the piano when we all know that's not true, just perfect.

Will and Nico ahh lads wait like 5 seconds pls *laughs*, it's funny to read it in the story but I know if I had flatmates and they tried that, I'd have the same reaction as Annabeth. Love her threat of chasing them with a brush *cracks up*, and then Percy being really immature and making a joke ahh. Also the fact that Percy smiles when he sees her? And that Annabeth calls him Perce? Asdfghjkl so cute, the things this does to my little shipper heart. Thaila spitting her gum into someone's eye *chokes*. Also the fact that the students did all the choreography is super impressive. Percy getting freaked out when Annabeth talks about kidnapping and ransoms omg, this is just crazy. Also just at the end, that hug, so cute, especially cos Annabeth had to stop and think about it and how Percy's happy that she came and Annabeth's warming up properly to Percy, it's all just so cute. I really like how at this stage they're a lot more comfortable with each other. Personally I know sometimes I'm someone who would hesitate to hug someone when I know them but I'm not sure if I should or not so like I love that Annabeth feels the same way and I really feel like it shows that she does like him and get on with Percy at this stage where she feels close enough to hug him.

Love how Annabeth is proud of teaching her girls how to give a death glare hahaha and then Percy just there drinking from his Best Grandad mug, omg the best. Woah these kids can be so rude to each other like low blow lads. And then Percy just terrified at the idea of doing Kelly Clarkson and the girls having done Cell Block Tango omg I just love the way Annabeth describes how eager they were to do it *cries with laughter*. Percy acting all calm about the fact kids have poCkEtKnives, honestly half of what I love about this is the contrast between Annabeth and Percy and what fazes them vs what they are nonplussed about. Percy telling them all that he does NOT want to explain why there was mass murder trying to calm them ahh and then the girls not knowing who the band Bastille are but knowing it's a prison bless them, they're definitely clever but totally out of touch with pop culture, the dears. Omg Leo almost setting his school on fire, that is so like him lol.

The scene in the piano room... like it's only a couple of lines in and Annabeth is noticing Percy's rolled up sleeved and is all flustered and I'm DECEASED. Like how she gets so distracted by their arms touching asdfghjkl ahhhh someone has a cruuuussssshhhhh! The way Percy looks at Annabeth when she's singing omg all the feels it's just so sweet asdfghjkl it's the beginning of something beautiful *cries tears of joy*.

Hahahaha can't believe Leo still managed to start a fire oh Leo. Also I'm super impressed that Annabeth gets the Goode girls to come back to learn Cell Block Tango.

Omg Percy and Annabeth just getting closer is so cute and her calling him late at night cos she needs to bake a cake and they just mess around and act all domestic like asdfghjkl so cute and Percy laughing at her before he realises she's serious, like amazing. And Annabeth staying over at his place! And then all the girls gossiping about it when Percy comes to give Annabeth her lunch and choosing 20 châinés *laughs*. Also I just love how Will and Percy call Annabeth "Beth" and "Bethie"? I don't know, something about nicknames just gets me. Then Will being Concerned Friend again and getting too involved in her love life hahahaha.

I have a sneaky suspicion Hestia was asked to distract Annabeth, am I right? Omg ASDFGHJKL PERCY'S SPEECH! I think I might cry it's so sweet and all the flowers and how touched Annabeth is and how he's just wearing his heart on his sleeve and how he doesn't try to pressure Annabeth into anything and says it's okay if she doesn't feel the same way but he just had to tell her *sobs*. And then they kiss and it's just perfect.

Ahhhhhh Piper and all walking in on them and then Piper saying that she knew they'd bone ick no, language. Piper's just so gleeful I love it and wanting them to go on double dates ah. The bit at the end when Percy looks at her and they're both smiling, melts my heart.

Piper proves once again why she is one of my favourite characters in this: " Piper says. "You basically did all the work, and you did it without sacrificing even an ounce of your femininity, which basically makes you the Michelle Obama of the entire operation."
Like that is just golden as well as all interactions between Piper and Will. And that line from Drew about her dad? Like honestly my favourite things in your fics are just those throw away casual remarks that are just so hilarious. And the way you describe how all the girls react when they win just feels so realistic and really acts realism to the story and makes me feel even more endeared towards all of them.

Piper finally doing the backflip she tried to worm in, omw that girl is so crazy I love her. And just all the little details with the girls and them all close and Reyna tormenting Piper, it just adds so much to the story and it's little things like that that I adore. Also Piper using the fact that she knows about Annabeth and Percy to her advantage and starting a bet *wheezes*. Nancy being stingy hahhahaha. And just that little moment between Annabeth and Percy and them kissing asdfghjkl. And them teasing each other and being so soft, I think I might cry. Reyna just out of the blue telling them that she's dating Thaila *giggles*.

And now it's the end and aw Annabeth getting emotional about the girls graduating, I love it. Also the fact that you checked if Pompeii and My life would suck would work together as a mashup is hardcore dedication and I respect that so much. Everything just ends so nice and lovely and I've enjoyed this fic so much like wow every time you just get better and better and I never fail to get impressed or entertained. I hope you'll had an amazing day, you are such a talented and brilliant writer but also just a wonderful person who deserves the world so here's just a little thing from me. Keep being you!

Great story. I laughed so much while reading this. If you ever want to come back to this universe I would love to read this from Percy or Piper’s POV because I think they would see the events very differently than Annabeth did.

This is funny, because i relate so much. Not the whole falling in love thing, but in my chorus class the teacher is like Annabeth and Im Reyna (except not gay) and Cate (another girl in my chorus class) is basically Piper

Does Will really look like a discount Luke Hemmings? Because Luke is hot and im totally obsessed with 5sos to the point where i knew everything the average superfan knew in about a week and a half.
Another thing. What Taylor songs are we talking about in Jason's class? For some reason Enchanted comes to mind, then How You Get The Girl, then If This Was A Movie, then Cold As You, then IKYWT. But if we're talking breaking hearts, then All Too Well and You're Not Sorry.
And is Kelly Clarkson really life changing? I listen to Country Taylor and Carrie Underwood and Maddie and Tae and Kelsea Ballerini, but never Kelly Clarkson.
And did Nico have a crush on Percy pre Solangelo in this or not?
Also, what Avril Lavinge song were they gonna sing. I personally feel like My Happy Ending or Complicated would work, but like yeah.
And this is really accurate. I've gone to both private and public, and ths difference is hilarious.

1.- I’m going to be honest, this type of story didn’t seem to me like it would really work, but you definite made a t work.
2.- I’m going to agree with Percy on this one — I usually crush really hard on girls who I either debate or argue with a lot — I guess it’s just really attractive that they aren’t scared to hammer my face in with their worldview. Both figuratively (debating with me) and literally (debating with me and then wacking my head with her book when I didn’t end up agreeing with her).
3.- I actually (don’t kill me please ladies) thought Octavian was pretty hilarious in this story. Again, that’s something I have not found anyone else is able to do, so points to you! And that part where he hits on Reyna...

okay, im going to say it, this is very accurate. public schools consider private schools to be made of prissies, and they're not, but they can have sticks up their butts at times. I would know. I went to private schools for six years and public schools for four years. and public school kids are appalled at the very idea of prudes, but they're all too loose themselves. my ex bestie called me a retard and then went on to press scissors to a friend of mine's throat. im not joking. and then at my old school, this one girl Stefania was constantly getting the newest things and acting like a spoiled brat, and she had these disgusting minions, half of which happened to be my best friends, and I think she expected me to kiss her ass, but she had no idea how much I wanted to tell her to kiss mine. public schools and private schools can both be very appalling people, but they're all very nice at heart. I swear. they're all very nice people and I consider them all to be my best friends. I mean, I have some friends that sleep on the floor and other friends who rub elbows with owner of facebook, but they're all wonderful people.
