I understand Ellie's feelings about doing things on her own, but she's got a baby and she's pregnant, and it's irresponsible for her to not let someone know her itinerary. And Steve needs to let go a little. He's got Nat and Sarah to take care of. He needs to let Ellie know he's there for her but let her be her own person.

So you made a better Captain America, but with none of the good story? Most of that was so contrived. Yes, she would genetically similar to Steve, but her DNA wouldn't help, Steve's would ONLY help because he already had the serum that changed him. After Steve changed him and Ellie would be very genetically different. Not only that but random other powers? That makes no sense and has never been apart of the story of the Super Serum. I'm sorry but this power up is one of the stupidest things I've read in a fanfic.
