I love your ending much better than the real one too! We must never let the Originals die. We must about them forever. I agree to that. I just saw an amazing video on youtube featuring Klaus and Elijah. It was called Klaus Mikaelson I Was Born Ready. Check it out I swear I eatched it like 10 times in a row, its awesome. Keep up with you excellent writing! I love the Bella/Klaus pairing. I'd love to see a Bella/Klaus/Kol poly pairing (could make it weirder and make them siblings too, lol. Seen one or two like that believe it or not.) Or, a Bella/Klaus/Jasper pairing. That's one that's never been done but would be awesome. "The Devil In Disguise' (as Klaus calls himself) and the "God of War". Make Bella the Goddess of War or Death, lol. Tormenting Eddie Boy, like a game of revenge. That would be a cool ass story. Love your writing. Keep it up.

I miss Haylijah so much and wish that we had been able to see them reunited. I'll admit, my preference is Klaroline, but I respect others' preferences. It is your story, you should write what inspires you. :)

Thanks so much for writing this. I have been imagining my own 'post-ending' and this ties in with it really well, without having to ignore/forget any part of the canon. I can quite well see and hear the characters in my head exactly as you depict them. Your attention to detail is great too, and you have fleshed out the characters very true to form, very consistently, with lots of descriptive imagery that helps set the scene in one's mind. It is like I am right there watching/walking with Elijah.

Personally I am actually more a fan of Camille/Klaus than Hayley/Elijah (I prefer Elijah with Antoinette, but oh well that was not to last), but am happy enough to go with it.

Re the finale itself, I actually (unlike most fans it seems) quite enjoyed it - I found myself at about 5-10mins in, thinking 'this is nowhere near as bad as I expected, and I'm starting to like Hope more, shock horror!' Few things I didn't like: Freya doing a 180 turn on wanting to have a child only about a week after saying she wasn't sure she'd ever have another - a huge decision like that should take far longer; it was totally unrealistic. And, Vincent's only role in the entire episode being to grant Freya's wish - both characters are far too interesting to be given such weak material for their ending. I was actually glad when Vincent first said no, and was disappointed that he changed his mind. Also didn't like the burned photo miraculously reappearing. And could have done without Caroline completely - that would have then left enough time for Klaus & Marcel to have a proper goodbye, which was sorely lacking; and would have given a bit more time for the Elijah & Rebekah goodbye which I thought was too rushed. But I did enjoy the rest really (was brought to unexpected tears); I just would have liked more of it!

Thank you! thank you! Thank you! Oh my life, this has given me actual life after last night's episode. Like you, i am located in the UK so i stayed up until the early hours to watch. It is safe to say, that after that finale episode, this was like a breath of fresh air. i totally get what you said about the last dance thing, its literally been built up all season that we will get it, and nothing.

Ohhhh my I am at a lost for words but I agree juile pec needs to be stopped at writing shows bc she ends them so wrong! Like I was so heartbroken the way tvd ended and now the originals ended I was so sad that Klaus had to die and leave his daughter but the. Elijah to and just nothing just dust. No vision of at least klaus and cami and no Elijah and Haley. I mean I loved ur story and having that ending at least should help me stop crying so much.

I love this sooo much! It’s brilliant & totally how it should have ended, or at least a glimpse of it. Thanks a lot for this, it’s wonderful... Elijah & Hayley deserved this, their characters were done wrong by Plec!
The finale was ok... kinda expected at least one of them to die since it started, but wish Michael Narducci (was back) wrote it, or even Margaritte, would have been WAY better & more true to the characters, unlike Plec’s hateful tragedies with inconsistencies!
