I like it! I always am more than annoyed by Dumbledore's assumption that he is so smart that he must know what is best for everyone.

*whistles* Well, Dumbledore got his tool against Riddle, but said tool is going to destroy so much more. Dumbledore and Snape destroyed his world and now he is going to return the favor multi-fold, planet-wide. Soon 'twill be a cinder orbiting the sun if the combined detonations of all the weapons don't fracture the planet and create a second asteroid belt around Sol.

That was beautiful. What happened to poor Hermione was horrible, but absolutely justifies what Harry is doing now. Let them all burn and when he's finished punishing them all he can sleep and rejoin her in death. Fantastic.

It's been a while since I've read Nightfall but as I remember, it was a good story.

You're right in that this is not a nice story (it hard to read about an evil Harry), but I did like it. I think if you wanted to, you could go back and make the story longer by "flashbacks" to show more of what Harry was feeling (his wedding, her death...)

Or you could change the ending to one with Harry only going after the bad guys (but doing so in a brutal way, maybe even outside the law.

Anyway, good story. I can't wait to read your longer one.

OK, maybe not "Nice" (although Very well written), but quite apropos, and not surprising either. He (Dumbles) should have known that Hermione was the Only thing keeping Harry on the straight on narrow, and with Her death, it ignited the Fuse that has been waiting to be lit for many a year, and there will be no extinguishing it, nor cutting it, ever. The Fun part is, that now that he has the Elder Wand, they can test his Holly/Phoenix Feather Wand all they want, and they'll never be able to prove that He did Anything Wrong. Thank You. TTFN

Its not often I review, but when I do its because its a fantastic story. I do not think I have ever liked dumbledork, gives me the shivers to know he is allowed around children, especially young boys. Schizophrenic megalomaniacs like dumbledork do exist.
