Well I'm terribly late to the party, but I just wanted you to know that this was fantastic and made me cry. Really great job and thanks for writing the Sam I love.

Agree wholeheartedly, season 11 and it's ending was just IMHO unbearable. IT ignored all rules no matter if classical dramaturgy, hence the hero's journey or modern soap oper-ish TV standards. Now the problem in general, it was an absolutely butchered gnostic theme, hence the mean demiurge Chuck versus Sophia aka Amara. Further Singer & Dabb ignorantly, mixed into the crappy ignorant gnostic theme also the post modern relativism humanstic ideology, by portraying Lucifer as the poor abused humanized son of the demiurge Chuck. On top of this whole crapp, they now shoved the brothers into this gnostic / humanistic gobbledygook. But instead of useing the classical SPN hero concept, namely Sam's hero journey, they simply rearranged the given premise and took Dean as their hero, and thereby destroyed not only Dean's character but also Sam's character. Just great...

Now thankfully, sigh, there are people like you(!) that have noticed something awful was shown on TV and luckily corrected it. Your story made more sense and showed, that one doesn't need to know the metaphysical specifics, if one sticks to the given SPN premise. Your story is a logical and beautiful variation of how the show should have created it's season final! Because Sam is the only one that could have changed Amara's additude, not Dean. Thank you!

OMG, that was so good and so heartbreaking. What Sam has been through... And then to have to lose Jessica again. I'm crying!

Interesting twist on the end of season 11. I'm always a sucker for Sammy torture so I loved that and I was NOT a fan of Chuck being God, so I appreciated Sam kicking him out at the end.

I’m gutted. I feel gutted. This was exquisitely painful and beautiful in a raw way. Poor Sam. So much torment and pain. To be given a little taste and then have it all ripped away all over again is so devastating. I especially loved the end with Sam laying into Chuck about all the wrong that’s been done to him. Very satisfying. I loved it all! I would be delighted to read more!
