how did they initiate the new wardens without access to archdaemon blood?
FurrFriend chapter 56 . 8/10
Barely worth reading, but only if you skip the last two chapters. As a whole, it wasn't particularly creative or compelling but it was decent enough to keep going, but the lack of happy or even satisfying ending turned that right around.

I want say amazing work so far and its epic to see the Dragonborn wreck Thedas and gain a harem.

this is good. while some decision is disappointing in my opinions well... we have different choices in the game, nevertheless it is nice and good fanfic.

Jeremy Harper chapter 9 . 6/6
This is very cool. I've enjoyed what I've read so far. Kudos for not have Uhtred be insanely overpowered to start things out. A good crossover should play fair with all sides of the cross, in my opinion.

I'm just curious why Uhtred (I'm a Cornwell fan too, by the by) didn't connect or compare demons with daedra? I haven't read your first story, but I'm sure he must have encountered at least Atronachs, if not Dremora. (It was a minor disappointment for me that Skyrim didn't have the variety of Daedra that Morrowind did).

I'll be curious to see if Uhtred has any thoughts comparing Orzammar to the dwemer ruins he's explored. I'm hoping he also maybe talked a bit about dwemer. I wonder what Oghren and Bodahn will/would say if they were told that dwarves in Nirn are actual elves.

so apparently I ramble in comments...

Summary:

cool story! love how relatable the character is.

Personally I can see myself doing many similar things to your character.

I however cannot see a long term relationship with the gjrls he is with if I were in his place. The only girl who I can honestly see myself with in the long term would be either Morrigan or Isabella.

The reason is simply due to both a blend of lifestyle, expectations, attraction and respect. I find Merrill adorable, to the point that my heart hurts with how cute she is. However, she is someone I view as a younger cousin or sister, a sexy incestuous sister... She's simply too dependent and not self sufficient enough for me to treat her as a wife/partner. She'd always need to be taken care of.

Can't wait for more of your DA:II story to be finished, I'm almost finished this one.

I loved your slow burn on the romance, the building of the relationships actually felt incredibly sincere and realistic as a result.

It's funny, looking at the character being with anyone he wants, but finish with xxx... I can't help but fantasize with myself in his place.

I find that for the sex, I'd do much the same, heck, I'd probably fuck even more characters than he. However, who would I actually be with in the long run? I don't truly know. It's fun to daydream.

If it were a jump chain. Only Isabella is actually liable to leave Thedas behind. No other girl is one to pack up and leave everything behind them, off on an adventure. Heck, Merrill (who I would persist to romance no matter how bad of a match we are) wouldn't ever be able to give up her "culturelet's not mention how messed up the Dalish have mis-remember their heritage. Hawke can't get her to give up her eluvian even when she "moved in"... and she's not unique possessing this mindset.

Dagna is interested in fade magic mechanics, Lelianna is devout with the maker (I'm athiest), Morrigan has her own goals and would never accept charity... finally, any grey wardens are infected by the taint...

It's truthfully, the same in the Mass Effect series. No matter how attractive they are, the majority of the characters in these titles are unlikely to abandon their works or their projects, lifestyle or culture.

Heck, the game has Lelianna and Zevran both leave the warden at the end of Origins, with naught but a letter... The drunk follows you but not your lover?! It's no wonder I searched after Morrigan time and time again. At least she isn't constantly giving empty platitudes. She actively runs away, scared of commitment... A whole reoccuring dialogue is in the game with her saying "no we cannot be together, you are a weakness and I cannot afford this weakness!"

not sure if this was mentioned at one point.

The reason I'm reading the story so far is because of the fact that I enjoy the subtle alternations in the story from canon events. The new perspective of time, travel, scale and relationships.

I really like the Lelianna/Solana/Dagna foursome. Especially because in my playthroughs, Lelianna/Isabella myself and sometimes zevran were a thing. The idea that Lelianna can't share is silly, as is Isabella sharing. It just matters as to who is involved.

For example, if it were Merrill, Isabella and Lelianna, the relationship would easily work if the male lover were sincere and honest. It also would require for them to be an accomplished lover and wealthy.

Morrigan does not like sharing, she is far to proud (honestly, she simply has an appropriate sense of worth) to demean herself and let herself be a hanger on. Given enough time, honesty, transparency and confidence; she too could share. However, it would be unlikely for her to consider Lelianna a true equal. Therefore unlikely for the above lovers to include Morrigan.

Personally, Dagna is probably one of the few Dragon Age characters that Morrigan may feel worthy of sharing a lover with. Due to the sheer intellect Dagna possesses. Even that however, is unlikely.

In daydreams, I believe, that if Morrigan were to be a lover among sister wives. I'd have to tire her out sexually, demonstrate stamina that Morrigan cannot satisfy and be both a target for her actual love as well as an intellectual equal. Otherwise, there is no future. My origin character basically slept around all of thedas. Bella, that cute Dalish girl, Lelianna and Morrigan were consistently romanced. By the end, I always ensured that flags for both party members were triggered, so that both Lelianna and Morrigan were my lovers (as a flagged event) to round out the DLC options.

The above only works as it does in the game. In real life it's possible, however, given the prompts offered in game, I doubt that Morrigan could love the Warden as she does in the DLC...
Guest chapter 5 . 4/12
This is a great story I hope Leiliana and the Dragonborn get back together soon. While they are separated at least they still love each other. It kinda reminds me of Geralt and Triss relationship at the end of The Witcher 2, but they do get back together if you make the right choices. Anyways keep up the good work and God bless.
JRZTT1246 chapter 4 . 4/1
I'm very sad that he can't use magic. As someone who preferred Mage playstyle and finds melee boring as you just go in and slash thing till it was dead. I find using magic depend on the different situation more engaging.

Will he be able to use magic just like a shout in the future?
