I love how you manage to show a logical, reasonable side to BOTH parties in the war. So few people actually think about WHY the enemy does what they do. (Or the protagonistic villains in cases like this.)

Evil is, and will always be, a matter of perspective and Values. And there will never be a 100% agreement on what is good and what is evil. One person's view of good is evil to someone else, and vice versa. Always.

And it's quite brilliant that you see that! _

Keep writing. Your story is really captivating, for all that Harry has some illogical psychological hangups. (Canon Harry has some illogical shit going too for that matter. Mostly to do with a compleate lack of trauma and PTSD after the war, not to mention how horrid his marrige with little princess ginny would be.)

If any Death Eater trust a new guy in less than 1 to 3 YEARS, they're dumber than they look. Heck, even the braindead Goyle can't possibly be THAT stupid!

That aside, your story is really quite good. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that nobody discovers Harry and that Voldemort wins the war. _

It would be perhaps one of the greatest challenges as a Writer -and the trademark of a Master- to write an ending that results in a whole new world order. ESPECIALLY a dystopian one.

I wonder if it will end up like the 1984 novel... *Chuckles*

It would also set the scene for a possible later Second Story, which may start in said Dystopia and have the main character be from the opposing side, or another universe.

(A.i. good Harry vs Evil Harry, or Hermione might have been raped by Voldemort himself and had a child that ends up leading the rebellion or someshit. OR she found a way to go back in time, realizing she had to fight fire with fire and end up going bad herself in the process and create an entierly DIFFERENT world order, yet still under a Dark Lady. Lol)

eg Voldemort premempts foreign intervention in his second war, launching coups all over the wizarding world. Also, he annihilates the foreign expedition and is poised to take all. But he forgets about Africa, it's armies and their "interventionist" leader...What?

All right, I’ll finally post a review. This series is so. Good! I’m serious, it’s awesome. I love that Harry is actually “evil”, and a death eater. I really appreciate that the death eaters aren’t, as you so aptly put it, dear author, misunderstood freedom fighters. When people feel the need to justify the death eaters actions with annoying morals like that, it annoys me. This is the first truly dark, truly evil and insane Harry I’ve read in a while, and he’s a breath of fresh air (now that he’s past his admittedly really annoying feeling guilty about murder stage). So thank you. Also, I love the ant torture curse, kamtzi deraavan or something like that, it was beautiful.

One small note on japan: The president have, litterally, ZERO power.

Japanese culture have this 'Empty Center' kind of ruling. Which means all the power in any given group (aside from Cults) are placed in the hands of either the entier group, or a 'top brass' type group.

I would suspect that traditionalist japanese wizards would have placed the Emperor back in power. And he might in turn turn that title over .

(The Emperor used to be seen as a god, and the sole ruler. Mind you, his court most likely made all the real decitions.

That all stopped when the americans invaded japan because they didn't like that japan secluded themselves from the world, forced them to open their boarders, and forced the Emperor to go on radio and state that he was not a god...something that SERIOUSLY broke the spirit of the japanese.)

Mind you, they would also be less against muggles. Magic, tradition and modernity have always intermingled and worked together in japan. (Quite the opposit to the western witch trials and judgement.)

Cristians were quite possibly one of the most predjudiced against groups in japan for a very long time.

And foregners are still distrusted, regardless of how long they live there. (Japan IS all about comformity, and it shows.) But it doesn't mean people treat them badly, because everything they do is so freakin' subtle. They pretty much just don't include them, and work and housing markeds discriminate openly against them. (Tho in some places, mainly in Tokyo, it may be slowly changing.)

I'm going to chalk this up to Voldemort's insanity, but it is TREMENDOUSLY stupid of him to allow the avrage foot soldier to know ANYTHING about his plans for the future.

Any good General knows that all the ONLY thing his soldiers need to know is where and when to show up for a meeting, which may or may not bring them to a battlefield. A soldier should ALWAYS be ready to battle at no more than a seconds notice.

I always assumed this is why dumbles relied so much on Snape; He was already in.

You don't promote someone whom just joined your army, the same way you might a talented employee. It invites spies and treachery.

The new guy would require years and years of loyalty to prove himself worthy of being an Officer/Inncer Circle. And ONLY then would he know anything at all about Voldemort's plans.

But, as I said, I'll blame this horrendous error on insanity driven stupidety. So it's not quote as illogical as it would have been had he not been insane, considering how inteligent he suposedly is.

Thank you for posting this. You've totally surpassed any hope I ever had of finding a truly evil Harry series.

Exchange with Draco is raw. Really nice, especially his response to the letter, repressing things.

Damn. I forgot how brutal the thing with Pansy was. Very nice, really shows that they are really gone from any chance at redemption. Damn.

Narcissa is actually terrifying. Brilliant way of capturing her in that letter.

Surely Dumbledore would act upon knowing their spy was compromised and ended himself? That’s got to be sort of a big deal.
