I really enjoyed it! It was a great way to follow the characters through the years leading up to AYITL. I can totally picture Lorelai snooping around trying to find her gifts and Luke going into grumpy rant mode. Keep it up! I’m excited to keep reading your stories!

Congratulations on your second story. Be proud of yourself for working so hard on this and getting it posted in time for your Christmas in July deadline! That's a huge accomplishment and takes real commitment.

This was a creative idea for a story. Great way to follow them throughout the years, and giving us a peek at their lives as the years go by. You put so much thought into each gift. I'm sure that was as much fun as it was aggravating at times! The "Bridesmaids" DVD makes me chuckle. Love knowing that the girls stay close and become part of the tradition, too - and even Liz has a hand!

The last gift is so perfect. Everything about it is right. I love that Emily helped out, and that it was Kirk who inadvertently helped Luke to finally "win." Lovely.

(It did sadden me to hear Luke keep referring to Lorelai as his girlfriend as the years went by, but I understand that you're adhering to Amy's world. Here in Cake Land, we put our fingers in our ears and belt out Reflecting Light as loudly as possible!)

Amazing, cute, funny and well written

This was so much fun to read: Poor Luke, Lorelai ALWAYS seemed to find/figure out his present for her. She even had accomplices. But the last present, unknown to Lorelai, was such a precious, loving gift. And Kirk most definitely did his part as did Miss Patty and Taylor. Love their close knit family and close knit community. Love this! So glad to see you back with a second story. The structure of this is great, seeing all of those Christmases and the battle play out. But the best part is seeing the little changes over the years in relationships. The final Christmas is great, Luke finally gets the win, and Lorelai is truly touched and surprised by the photo album, which sounds like a perfect gift. Thank you for writing this. I’m so happy to have a new and really good writer in the fandom!
