Guest chapter 25 . 7/24 Great job! I LOVED the wedding speech from Kallus! |
Guest chapter 38 . 6/30 Just read this for the third time, the emotions in this chapter are beautiful. I had Kanans And The Fire playing while Ahsoka fought and honestly? Tears man. Truly a masterpiece of writing. If only the Rebels sequel went this way. |
Rigiroony chapter 12 . 6/17 Damn this hit home. I lost my father when I was 4. I only have a few memories of him and rely on stories from family to fill in the gaps. It's a blessing in a sense since I was never as impacted when it happened like my older siblings...but it sucks. Like Hera said, will never truly know him. |
Rigiroony chapter 7 . 6/17 excited to see if my boi Eli pops up. |
austinjak0 chapter 41 . 6/14 Honestly this is probably one of the best written and thought out stories I’ve read on fan fic. The plot and characters were well thought out, and the whole story was simply a joy to read. I really do hope that you decide to write a sequel (if only to fix what abrams and Johnson did to cannon), but if not, I’m just glad I got to read a decent conclusion to a true Star Wars story. I’m looking forward to whatever you have next. |
Uchiha chapter 12 . 6/12 I'm on chapter 13 and I must say you did a very excellent job. |
Guest chapter 41 . 6/12 My name is DamaSENDhimafriend, mobile login is terrible. This is a good story. Plain and simple. The characters are really well written, the overarching threat is both hidden and in clear sight, everything is too good. I'm glad you didn't kill off Ezra for the sake of plot, honestly the sequels need a rewrite with characters from Rebels because it feels like they just forgot about them. Faro's death was unexpected, and you managed to make me feel bad for her, even tho she's an Imp, and by the natural order should be hated. The whole 'Ezra writes his own code' is nice, because it seems like something he would do given his experiences, while Luke being exremely rigid in fear of another Darth Vader happening makes sense too. I was expecting Sabezra, given seven of your eight other fics and you didn't disappoint. Finding each other on the shuttle, the kiss on the tower, the Mandalorian wedding, then the leadup to Mira Wren-Bridger (is that actually canon or is just something everyone has accepted? Ima look that up later) which was slightly obvious considering the first few Hera POV's at the start but by no means unwelcome. Ahsoka's death is written really well, and kinda reminds me of (character name removed bc here be spoilers) from the end of Lorien Legacies: Reborn. Luke promising to buy Ahsoka another shuttle and then never getting to is sad, but at least now I have a headcanon(headfanon?) that Luke and Hondo went to buy/wangle/steal/borrow indefinitely (you never know with Hondo) one in her honour. I have a list on my notes app, stories and authors who are so damn brilliant at writing. This is going on there, and pretty much the entirety of you other content too. I know it's been almost a year since you last posted this, but please do consider a (slightly noncanon so we don't end up in that mess of bland characters) sequel(s) for this, maybe with Sloane and Snoke creating the First Order, or Thrawn requesting help from the Jedi to fight the Grysk, Luke and Ezra tracking down a Rogue Ben Solo, stuff along those lines. This is insanely long, and you're probably not going to see this, but it's something I needed to do, after reading this work of art. Vaya con Queso! |
Krouac chapter 2 . 6/11 I found a comparison and realised how long this is in comparison to an actual book, I realised I read it to quickly, so I take back my earlier comment on ezra being found too early |
Krouac chapter 1 . 6/8 It's a long time after both the season finale and the ending of this story but I wanted to let you know my thoughts anyway. I honestly think this is the perfect direction the story could take. I could spend time praising it all but honestly, there is no way to describe it other than consistently incredible. If the rumored sequel to rebels went this way I would honestly be very happy. One thing I love that I haven't seen in any over fics is that you've kept the characters consistent with how they've been presented everywhere else. It's also very professionally written apart from a few small typos. Truly worlds ahead of anything other one I have read. It also manages to capture the humour portrayed in the series, and also your own additions which are amazing too, it doesnt seem forced. It's also well balanced, not solidly focused on Ezra/Sabine, which I enjoy, but in moderation. My only very slight criticisms (I'm being extremely picky here) is that I feel Ezra gets rescued almost too quickly. Had the search for him gone on longer, with perhaps them despairing more. I think I can understand why you didn't let it drag on, and the reunion was incredibly touching As well as this I dont like Snoke being the big villain, just because I dont like him personally, but I thought the amount of lore you incorporated accurately was incredible. I also thought Commodore Faro had an excellent story. My final criticism is I just felt that while it was shown Ahsoka had grown immensely powerful, it did make Luke seem almost puny against Snoke. It was still incredible though, my own nitpicks are my own. I would still date this 9.9/10 with my only real criticism being the swift finding of Ezra, but I can understand the way it is. |
bruukii chapter 41 . 5/8 Amazing story and I don't mind the author's notes. They explained a lot for me. |
Ashla07 chapter 39 . 4/10 Kill it! For God’s sake Slone, SHOOT IT IN THE HEAD! |
NATE chapter 25 . 3/16 DUDE just one question did Ansoka come to the wedding?if not she is not going to be happy |
Guest chapter 40 . 3/3 that was beautiful. |
Guest chapter 41 . 3/3 I’ve read all the Thrawn novels both canon and legends and I’ve also read fan fiction with Thrawn in it and i must say that your portrayal of Thrawn was perfect. Many other fan fictions that attempt to fit Thrawn into the story fail to properly convey who Thrawn really is and more than just how he talks but how he makes the readers feel with the atmosphere he alone provides so for you to be able to do such is very impressive and I applaud you. Also loved the fact you threw in Eli Vanto, one of my personal favorite Star Wars characters |
Nate chapter 3 . 3/3 NAUGHTY boy, love what you did there! |
