The Riot gear should mean that officer are protected .Zombies strangth not that grea some what increase but not much that it can bite and rip though Riot gear designed to take heavy fire arms such machine guns ,knives and such .So out most people Riot officer highest chance of survival so long they not infect already .Hell get proper football or hockey gear also provide great protection .
