Maybe she just has never been saved in any way before and having someone actually doing so even in the most mundane way shocked her so much that her mind and heart are blowing it way out of proportions. She must be starved for affection. Just wait till she experiences kissing and sex. Jaune won't be able to keep her off of him. She might turn into a super obsessive clingy girlfriend. Can't help the scenarios I am thinking up now. Damn someone give this woman a hug, she clearly needs it.

Also finding out Winter drew a picture out of crayon was beyond adorable. She's like a little girl learning about romance and love. Only in her case it's like she knew about them but never believed in them until now anyway.

I'd like the fic more, though, if Winter falling into love wasn't such a unbelievable parody, but was more understandable. His naive heroics, his purity, would be a fine reason!

Also, you should bring up their ages in the first chapter, since it seems like one's a preteen and the other's an adult. Which is creepy.
