Mind you, she was 4 when this happened, but I was trying to get her to eat lettuce and she said "But Momma, you always tell me outside not to eat leaves! Why is it okay inside?" Well. She had me there!

This cracked me up even though I knew what was coming. The buildup to the end was perfect and I love how sweetly clueless but sincere Patrick is and how genuinely charmed Shelagh is by his gift.
